Eglantine otherwise known as Harry is off to Greece. She
fills in as manager of a band that has been booked to play a
special birthday party. Things get out of hand quickly and
Harry finds herself with an eighteen year old accusing an
older man of attacking her. Iakovos is there and tries to
sort it all out. While his brother is accused of attacking a
woman he finds that he is drawn to the woman in charge of
the young lady doing the accusing, but she is nothing like
the women that he usually enjoys the company of. Will the
two find out the truth and will their attraction turn into
more?
I am a big fan of this author and her other series and
jumped at the chance to read this book. IT'S ALL GREEK TO ME
is a fun romp in the sun. The heroine is a strong woman and
is more than willing to stand and fight for what she thinks
is right. I thought it was cute that she calls Iakovos Yacky
as well as some other inventive names. The two hit it off
and begin a steamy romance. Iakovos may not be able to say
those three special words to Harry but he shows her just how
much he loves her throughout the story. When he finally does
say the words you will enjoy it immensely. Seeing their
relationship take form was a good read. I found myself
chuckling through most of this book. It is full of silliness
from the beginning to the end and at some times it does get
to be a bit much but I still enjoyed it.
IT'S ALL GREEK TO ME is a light hearted and fun story full
of laughs and romance. Katie Macalister does a good job of
pulling the reader into her world. I enjoyed meeting Harry
and Yacky and hope to see more fun from this author.
Billionaire Greek playboy Iakovos Papaioannou knew his
sister hired her favorite band to perform at her birthday
party. He's just not sure how their six-foot tall,
wild-haired, tempestuous manager has already ended up in his
bed-and in his heart. Eglantine "Harry" Knight is so not his
type. She's as infuriating as she is intriguing, and she's
can't keep her hands off of him. But she just may be the
woman who knocks him off the world's most eligible bachelor
list for good...
