Elspeth Stewart was prepared to marry a man she knew she
would never love. She was willing to do her duty to her
family. Sacrifice herself for the greater good. After all he
wasn't that bad... Little did she know that at the alter she
would be swept away by "Mad Rob" and captured both body and
soul. As Rob and Elspeth run from their pursuers she finds
herself thrust into his world at an alarming speed. What she
feels for him is anything but proper. How can one have
feelings for a kidnapper? Thanks to her gift of Sight,
Elspeth knows the hurt and sadness that lurks inside Rob.
Unfortunately for her, this kidnapper seems to have touched
something deep inside her. Elspeth can do nothing but find a
way to extinguish the flames inside Rob's heart and make a
place for her in their place.
Rob MacLaren was after revenge and if that revenge came by
stealing his enemy's bride it was all the sweeter. For Rob
nothing has ever been as important as his revenge. Revenge
he would take for the death of his wife by Drummond's own
hand. Kidnapping Elspeth was a challenge, an adventure that
gave him something else to think about. It was just one
small step toward thwarting Drummond and ensuring that the
world would know just how truly evil the man really was.
Kidnapping Elspeth should have been quite easy, nothing to
it. However, what he did not count on was the way that
Elspeth would work her way into his home, his family, and
his long dead heart.
Simply sinful! SINS OF THE HIGHLANDER is full of troubles,
adventures, and the blending of two hearts who thought love
was beyond their reach. Elspeth was a wonderful heroine. She
was everything that every woman longs to be; beautiful both
inside and out. Watching this strong woman succumb to the
passions of her heart was simply a delight. In one part of
the book I was astounded by how much I felt for this young
woman. She had never been taught the ways of woman and was
struggling to come to terms with what she wanted from Rob.
Finding her way past his dead wife and into his heart was a
true challenge and one that most woman would not have had
the patience to endure. As for Rob the only mad thing about
him was his grief. Rob thought that he had lost the only
thing that would ever matter to him. He truly struggled
against the feelings he had for Elspeth which made his
surrender all the greater in the end. Mason and Marlowe have
woven a magical tale of Scottish adventure, Scottish
feuding, and Scottish love that is sure to warm up even the
coldest of nights!
ABDUCTION
Never had Elspeth Stewart imagined her wedding would be
interrupted by a dark-haired stranger charging in on a black
stallion, scooping her into his arms, and carrying her off
across the wild Scottish highlands. Pressed against his hard
chest and nestled between his strong thighs, she ought to
have feared for her life. But her captor silenced all
protests with a soul-searing kiss, giving Elspeth a glimpse
of the pain behind his passion—a pain only she could ease.
OBSESSION
"Mad Rob" MacLaren thought stealing his rival's bride-to-be
was the perfect revenge. But Rob never reckoned that this
beautiful, innocent lass would awaken the part of him he
thought dead and buried with his wife. Against all reason,
he longed to introduce the luscious Elspeth to the pleasures
of the flesh, to make her his, and only his, forever.
With two clans against them burning for battle, they must
find a way to join together—body, breath, and soul. Or both
will be made to pay for the...
