Jason. Corrie and Judith are the love interests. James and
Jason have been sowing their wild oats repeatedly and are
beginning to slow down. The reader will get to know these
enthusiastic twins very quickly, within the first couple of
chapters. Corrie and Judith have similar personalities, they
are brave to get involved the the Sherbrooke boys,
mysterious and exciting enough to keep them coming back, and
with a flair for the dramatic.
Not all is perfect for the young lovers though. Jason and
James discover that someone is trying to kill their father.
They believe it may be the children of a French spy seeking
revenge. They turn their attention to capturing the possible
killers and finding a reason. The romance is not abandoned
though, much to the readers' enjoyment. Their growing
relationships are endearing, the women do not fall for the
Sherbrooke twins instantaneously, it is more gradual. Their
romance is sweet at times and steamy at others.
