Lady Noelle is left in charge of a "school" to help retired
courtesans achieve marriageable status. There are, of
course, speed bumps when Noelle is in charge. When a
frantic courtesan arrives claiming she has a stolen piece of
jewelry from her previous protector, Noelle knows she must
try to help to save her from arrest. Noelle's attempts to
help, however, go awry when she is discovered in the bedroom
of Gavin Blackwell.
Noelle is kind, generous, and always welcomed people with
open arms. However, it would have been nice to see a
slightly more forceful or "in charge of herself" woman. The
love interest, Gavin, was in some ways a typical hero,
demanding, determined, and handsome but still very lovable.
Together, they make an amusing couple with their adventures
in finding the culprit and love.
THE ACCIDENTAL COURTESAN is a fast-paced amusing romantic
historical filled with fun and a delight to read. Cannot
wait for the next "bride's school" story.
To save a "bride-in-training" from arrest, Lady Noelle
Seymour sneaks into a stranger's bedroom to replace a stolen
necklace-only to lock eyes with the handsome Gavin
Blackwell, cousin of the Earl of Seabrook. To explain her
presence in his private chamber, she gives the first excuse
she can think of: she is there as his new courtesan.
Mystified by the beautiful woman who offered her services
and then vanished, Gavin tracks her down-and demands that
she keep her word...
