Grace Andreas and Simon Parran knew each other in med
school and have been thrust together again because of some
stolen biological weapons. However, their reunion is
anything but sweet because the secrets they kept from each
other then has festered as Simon works on not-quite-
approved research and Grace now works for a super-
undercover military group. Their secrets are going to get
them, and others, killed if they don't learn to communicate
and work together.
This is an interesting story, but for
readers familiar with the Alpha Force -and even those
unfamiliar with it- some of the suspense may lead to "Just
tell each other already!" which can detract from the
plotlines. However, the layers of romance, secrecy, and
detection are interesting and create a fine story.
Spying his former lover shifting from wolf to woman provoked
strong feelings in Simon Parran. And it seemed Dr. Grace
Andreas had a few other secrets, including membership in the
elite shape-shifting unit, Alpha Force.
Having hidden his true nature from Grace for so long, Simon
is unprepared to finally work side by side with her. But
with biological weapons going missing and a suspected
terrorist plot in the works, Simon must turn to Grace for
help. Even if being with her 24/7 would ignite all the
passion he'd long repressed...
