Janet Begay, Stormwalker and welder of Beneath magic, is
extremely content with her hotel of friends and her hot
Dragon-boyfriend, Mick. Janet's situation can't be any more
perfect right now though Janet is used to things going awry
in her life at a drop of a hat. For example, flying down a
highway going at least 80 miles an hour over the speed limit
on her beloved motorcycle minding her own business and the
earth collapsing under her wheels taking her and the
sheriff, Nash Jones, with it. Thanks to Mick, both Janet
and Nash barely escape with their lives especially since a
dark and sinister being is trying to snag Janet before she
can escape. Janet quickly realizes something is terribly
wrong as the dark forces are making themselves known.
To top off a stellar week, an annoying building inspector is
claiming Janet's Hotel is in jeopardy of being closed down
due to not being up to code. All Janet can do is attempt to
contain her anger and explain that the paperwork is all
wrong; once again Janet senses something isn't quite right.
It becomes even more obvious that dark forces are crashing
into Janet's world as Janet panics because Mick is beginning
to distance himself from her even as she is getting reports
of Mick talking to another woman. Distraught, yet holding
onto her love for Mick, Janet faces the heart wrenching
truth that Mick may be lost to her forever unless she can
find a way to save him before he can kill her.
SHADOW WALKER is the 3rd book in the Stormwalker series and
can I say that from the first page the reader is swept into
Janet Begay's world of magic, dragons, and evil. This
series is a refreshing take on the paranormal. Awesome read!
Stormwalker Janet Begay returns home only to have the ground
collapse beneath her-literally. After tumbling two hundred
feet underground, Janet is rescued by her dragon boyfriend,
Mick. But something dark touches Mick while in the sinkhole,
and Janet might lose him forever unless she recruites the
most unlikely of allies to stop the growing shadow.
