THREE TO TANGO is an erotica anthology with four
novellas of steamy threesomes and a great read for those
who think that three is better than two!
The first story is "dirty/bad/wrong" by Lauren Dane. Ava
is visiting home to attend her mother's funeral when she
finds herself back in the arms of Luca and Angelo. The
three were best friends and lovers before Ava left town,
and their recent encounter has reawakened deep feelings in
all of them. Now Ava has to decide if she can once again
leave the two men who mean more to her than anything. This
was my favorite story in the collection. The fact that the
three characters are restarting an affair works well for a
novella length story. They already have an emotional
connection so you don't get the feeling that they are
heading too fast into an alternative relationship. The
characters are likeable, and sex scenes are hot, though
fairly vanilla for a ménage story with male/male
interaction.
In Megan Hart's "Just for One Night" Kerry's old crush
Brian is in town for their high school reunion. With her
boyfriend Jeremy's encouragement she decides to seduce
Brian for a one-night fling. When Kerry decides that once
wasn't enough, Jeremy is onboard, but sharing isn't
something Brian thinks he can do. Megan Hart writes some
of the hottest sex scenes in print, and this is no
exception. It isn't exactly a ménage story, since Kerry
has a separate relationship with each man, and it is
definitely the most emotional story of the four. It deals
a lot with uncertainly and guilt, and how adding another
person to a relationship can have unforeseen consequences.
Fans of Hart will find this story has a similar feel to
many of her others.
"Flipping for Chelsea" by Emma Holly is about adopted
brothers Shay and Liam and their best friend Chelsea. They
had a hot threesome together the day before Chelsea left
for college, but when Shay touched Liam in the heat of the
moment it put an end to their closeness. The three meet
back up as adults, and the chemistry is still as intense as
ever. But Liam and Shay need to work things out if there
is any hope for a happily ever after. I am a big fan of
Holly, but was a little disappointed at the superficiality
of the characters in this story. I also didn't quite feel
the emotion that is supposed to exist between the two
foster brothers. The sex scenes are as steamy as usual for
Holly, but some readers may think there is an "ick" factor
because the men are adopted brothers.
The last story is Bethany Kane's "On the Job." Walker is a
former Secret Service agent who is hired by Tony to be the
bodyguard of their mutual friend Madeline. Madeline was in
love with Walker when he left for training 19 years ago,
and now that he is back she is determined to torture him
for breaking her heart. Walker wants to win her back for
good, but he needs to find a way to get Tony out of the
picture. This story is more involved and has more plot
than the others in the anthology. However I did not care
for the characters much; Walker is domineering, Madeline
bad-tempered, and Tony a push-over. The story will appeal
to those who like mild bondage and spankings as there is
plenty of that throughout. There is one ménage scene, but
no male/male interaction.
Four of erotic fiction's most talented authors carry readers
away with all-new tales of ecstasy that prove that the most
delectable things in life come in threes...
In Emma Holly's FLIPPING FOR CHELSEA, Shay and Liam shared
an unforgettable night with their lifelong friend, Chelsea,
awakening a rush of forbidden feelings--feelings they have
to reckon with when the three reunite, and the unrequited
lust between them is too much to bear.
Though Ava left her hard-knock Georgia childhood behind, she
never forgot Luca and Angelo. Together they were best
friends with a bond that could never be broken. But when she
returns, the three must decide whether to face the fires
that burn between them, or forgo their desires forever in
Lauren Dane's DIRTY/BAD/WRONG.
In Megan Hart's JUST ONE NIGHT, fun-loving couple Kerry and
Jeremy find themselves in a triangle of trouble when Kerry's
old crush, Brian, returns for a school reunion, and Jeremy
gives her his enthusiastic approval to seduce him. But while
Jeremy has no trouble sharing Kerry, Brian isn't sure he can
handle what's coming.
Years ago, Walker walked out on Madeline when she needed him
most. Now, the ex-Secret Service agent is back--hired to
protect Madeline by her billionaire boss, Tony. Madeline is
determined to make him pay for denying her desires--and
she's not above bringing Tony in to sweeten the deal in
Bethany Kane's ON THE JOB.
