Romance Series

Assistant District Attorney Jamie McNair can not believe she is taking time in the middle of her busy day to meet millionaire and convicted murderer Daniel Logan because he is not willing to go to her office. Daniel seems to think his non-profit company, Project Justice, can convince Jamie that all the hard work and evidence in her latest conviction has resulted in a man on death row for a murder he did not commit. Jamie's determination to lay said evidence at Daniel's feet so he can give up his fight for misplaced justice is strong, but she is willing to listen to what he has to say just to prove him mistaken in his way of thinking. Jamie is not ready for the heat and chemistry sparking between them and refuses to give in to nature.

Daniel Logan spent 6 years in a penitentiary for a murder he did not comment. Those years have changed Daniel from the free-spirited kid with money to a recluse bent on overturning the District Attorney's cases. Having money didn't help him all those years ago when he desperately needed it but now money has given Daniel the resources to help others just like him. Inviting Jamie McNair to his home is a calculated risk Daniel is willing to take to make Jamie look at the case and convince her that the man she has sent to prison is innocent and the real killer is still out there. Daniel's real reasons are more personal because he feels that there is a connection between his case and hers, he only hopes she has enough honor to listen to reason.

A SCORE TO SETTLE is full of intrigue and secrets keeping you guessing at the outcome through out the entire book. I couldn't put it down. Awesome Read!

SUMMARY

Daniel Logan spent six years on death row for a crime he didn't commit. So for him, the justice system is…flawed. Since his release, he's dedicated himself to helping others wrongly convicted. Now his latest crusade pits him against star prosecutor Jamie McNair. Her staunch belief in this system makes freeing a man she put away seem insurmountable. Exactly the kind of challenge Daniel thrives on.

Digging into the case reveals disturbing similarities to his own arrest and conviction. Could the same murderer be at work? To his surprise he relies on Jamie to help free an innocent man and help Daniel escape his past. As they get closer to the truth, their attraction brings them together. Only, the stakes are higher than either realizes….
