Romance Paranormal

Michelle Rowan's BLEEDING HEART demonstrates what happens when a dhampyr (half-human/half-vampire) is on permanent drugs to control the vampire part of his psyche, but the drugs make him unable to feel anything. Declan rushes his former lover, Jill, to what might be their last hope: a doctor who can tell them how to remove the Nightshade from her bloodstream. Nightshade makes her blood irresistible to vampires, but it kills them almost instantly. In addition, it is killing Jill. Following double-cross after double-cross, Jill and Declan learn they can only trust each other; are they strong enough to resist emotion-resisting drugs and a deadly potion?

Ava Gray's SKIN AND BONE shows what happens when two people who are used to flying by the seats of their pants are thrown together after disaster. Silas is a dangerous man, but he's kept his abilities hidden from those who would use them for evil. However, he is back "on the grid," and he's got to discover if he can trust the people who say they can help him, and vice versa, as well as learn if he can trust himself enough to love.

Jory Strong's ANGEL-CLAIMED depicts an arrogant angel whose beloved, a djinn, has been reincarnated as a gift to him for past deeds. However, she doesn't remember her past, and her human self has responsibilities. The clash between an angel who feels he is always right, whether in the bedroom or in all other aspects of decision- making, and a woman who knows she will not give up without a fight, is fabulous.

Lora Leigh's PRIMAL KISS, the latest novella of the Breeds, shows what happens behind enemy lines: Kita Engalls father has been an enemy of the Breeds because of his past assistance to Philip Brandenmore, a horrible man who continues to damage the Breeds. Kita's viewpoint of the Breeds is quite different, much to the relief of her guard, Creed. Creed is hopeful that Jonas Wyatt's machinations will allow him to save...and mate with...Kita Engalls.

All four works are intricately woven with varying levels of steamy romance, but they all immediately pull the reader into their individual worlds, making for a great reading experience.

SUMMARY

Four all-new stories of primitive desire—with a never-before-published novella of the Breeds.

#1 New York Times bestselling author Lora Leigh returns to her sensual world of the Breeds in an all-new novella that explores just how savage, and how far, a man is willing to go in the name of desire. Plus three other stories of irresistible passions from three masters of hot paranormal romance.

When desire cannot be controlled…When personal will is overpowered by carnal cravings…When only one fearless impulse feeds you, body and soul…

You can’t deny it. It’s something primal.
