Romance Historical

In a time before the world was tame, there was a glen ruled by men. The Glen of Many Legends was given to the clansmen who won it for a king: Clan Cameron, Clan Donald, and Clan Mackintosh. It was here in this glen that a thousand lives were lost as the clans feuded over time for the right to call the glen theirs and theirs alone. It is here in the Glen of Many Legends that the last legend has yet to be written. It is this legend that shall live longer than the others and carry on through time to survive the years; the legend of peace and love and how the glen combined. The king has ordered the three clans to battle to the death to determine who has rightful claim of the glen. If the clans refuse or if a single clansman were to run all three clans forfeit rights to their home and will be transported to a new land, an island where they shall fight and lay claim for Scotland.

James Cameron has no intention of leaving the glen ever. The Cameron's hold the land for the Makers of Dreams, it is their blood that has soaked and foraged the lands for centuries, and it is their blood that shall remain. Known as the "devil," James has no weakness and knows that nothing will stand in his way to victory. Until the day a memory of a raven haired beauty returns to haunt him. Catriona MacDonald is a strong willed lass, sure of her clan, filled with highland pride, her tongue and wit are enough to spark fire to any man. Yet it is her beauty alone that ignites James.

Catriona has been infatuated with the enemy since she was a girl. Their first meeting left her shaking with anger and quivering with longing for more. Can she love the enemy? Will James survive the coming battle to fulfill her every desire? Or will his "sins" turn him away from the fate that has brought them together?

Sue-Ellen Welfonder has truly brought legends and love to life between the pages of this, the first book in a new trilogy. I can not wait for the pages to be written in the next two.

SUMMARY

The first book in the Highland Warriors trilogy, in which three heroes make a pact to insure that a rival clan does not take over their Glen of Many Legends. At the same time, three women plot to marry these heroes to insure peace. In SINS OF A HIGHLAND DEVIL, James Cameron is concerned when the King's decree states all three neighboring clans must have a battle to the death in order to lay official claim to the scared Glen of Many Legends. James attempts to make a pact with the heads of the other clans to fight this decree. But he ends up fighting his own fierce desire when coming head-to-head with Lady Catriona of the opposing MacDonald clan, who has her own plan for peace.
