As manager of a New Orleans haunted-tour company, Nikki
DuMonde knows her fair share of ghost stories. She's
always had a sense of past events in certain places but she
never believed in ghosts until one morning at 4am when her
newest employee is standing at the end of her bed, begging
her for help. At the time she thought it was a prank,
until the next morning when she discovers that Andy died at
exactly the same time that she saw her in her bedroom.
Brent Blackhawk has been seeing ghosts since he was five
and his parents died. As a paranormal investigator, he's
in New Orleans attempting to uncover the circumstances
behind the slaying of a FBI agent. When he discovers that
Nikki is seeing people after they've apparently died,
including the FBI agent, he's the only one to believe she's
not losing her mind. He wants her to help him in his
investigation since she's the one that the murder victims
are trying to connect with.
Nikki isn't sure the ghosts aren't just a figment of her
imagination; even though Brent tells her that they're real,
but she is sure Andy did not die of an overdose. In order
to prove that, she has to agree to help Brent in his
investigation since it looks like the two murders are
linked. Time's quickly running out though. Someone's out
to get Nikki and Brent will do anything he can to prevent
them from getting to her.
For believers of the supernatural, this is a must read for
you. GHOST WALK will give you chills. With vibrant New
Orleans as the stories setting, Heather Graham writes a
wonderful story and even sneaks in a little bit of history
on the Big Easy. This book will have you guessing at the
identity of the villains till the very end. Be sure to
keep a light on if you plan on reading this one at night
because by the end of it, it'll have you believing in
spirits.
Nikki DuMonde's newest employee is standing at the end of

It's a joke, right? Besides, as manager of a successful New
Orleans haunted-tour company, Nikki doesn't scare easily.
But in the light of day, harsh reality sets in as a police
officer informs her that Andy was brutally murdered—at the
exact time Nikki swears the distraught woman was in her room.
No one believes her except Brent Blackhawk, a paranormal
investigator desperately trying to forget his tragic past.
Half Irish, half Lakota—and able to communicate with the
dead—Brent is used to living in two worlds. But when he
realizes the ghost of a slain government agent is also
trying to reach out to Nikki, he knows that she, too, must
listen to the dead...if she wants to keep living.
