Claudia Connors comes home after a wild trip to Vegas with
a head full of flaming red hair. This really doesn't
surprise her buddies, the Bunco Babes. But when she reveals
that she has gotten married and introduces them to her new
husband, the tanned, handsome actor Lance Ledeaux, well, the
girls are shocked, to say the least.
And when Lance announces to the Babes that he plans to
direct and perform in a play in which he wants all of them
to have roles in the production, the normally skeptical
Babes are won over by his offer and his general charm.
But the honeymoon seems to be over between Claudia and
Lance when Kate accidentally overhears a fight between the
newlyweds over money problems and becomes concerned for her
friend. Her concern skyrockets when during a rehearsal
Lance is shot with a prop gun that had been loaded with
real bullets, and the main suspect looks to be Claudia.
It's up to the Bunco Babes to help clear their friend's
name, and Kate leads the gals on an investigation into the
homicide that turns up more clues and suspicious characters
than they ever imagined could invade their normally
peaceful world.
'TIL DICE DO US PART is the second book in Gail
Oust's "Bunco Babes Mysteries" series, and it is filled
with good humor and saucy characters that will keep readers
in stitches as they follow the group of friends tied
together by their love for the popular dice game.
The Bunco Babes are a group of hip retirees who love to
play bunco-and addictive game of luck.
But
someone's luck is about to run out...
For good.
When Claudia Connors returns from Vegas with a
new husband, actor Lance Ledeaux, Kate McCall and the other
Bunco Babes are shocked. To make matters worse, Lance has
plans to direct, produce, and star in a play he has
written-and he wants all the Babes to participate.
When he's killed during rehearsal with a pistol, all eyes
are on Claudia, who is literally holding the smoking gun.
Anyone could have loaded the real bullets, but its up to
Kate to prove Claudia's innocence-or her newly widowed
friend will be throwing dice behind bars.
