Non-Fiction

If you enjoyed reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown or even just have an interest in the ideas of his book this book is a great addition to your collection. It is well written and easy to comprehend. The author moves the book along at a good pace. You are not bogged down with long explanations nor are you left wondering about things and finding you learned nothing while reading. I enjoyed the way the book talks to you not over or at you. All the information in it was interesting and easy to read. Some pictures have also been included in this book, which is a nice touch. It is always an added bonus when you as a reader can actually see something that that the author has written about and sometimes it makes it easier to understand the facts given. I cannot say that anyone one part of this book is better than the rest of it, in a whole this book was a good read. Each chapter is geared towards a different subject yet the book flows nicely. With each chapter being sufficient enough to give the reader a concise view of the subject it deals with without over explaining and loosing the readers interest. This book keeps your interest while teaching you a few things without turning into a textbook. As you read this book you can find out some facts as well as what is fiction in an enjoyable way. If more books were written in such a manner I am sure more people would be learning.

BEHIND THE LOST SYMBOL is an easy and fast paced read. Keeping the reader entertained while they learn something new. This book is a definite should read especially for those who have read and enjoyed the Lost Symbol book. I know I will be looking for more books from this author.

SUMMARY

THE SYMBOL WAS LOST...
BUT THE TRUTH HAS BEEN FOUND!

With his blockbuster bestselling novels The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, author Dan Brown introduced readers to a world of symbols and secret societies, men of God warring with men of Science, and the adventures of brilliant Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon. Now, with his newest novel, The Lost Symbol, Brown has woven a complex web of intrigue, religion, technology, and great historical figures guiding the destiny of mankind.

Inside, you will find the truth behind The Lost Symbol's history and myths, such as:

* The strength and influence of the enigmatic Freemasons throughout history
* The founding fathers of the United States--and their possible connections with secret organizations such as the Illuminati and the Templars
* The meaning within the symbols of the Great Seal of the United States
* The identity of the Masonic "Great Architect of the Universe"
* And so much more!
For armchair historians and devoted fans-or those who want to know where the line is drawn between fact and fiction-this is the ultimate guide to the mysteries, symbolism, and historical contexts of Dan Brown's thrilling novel.
