Osmond Lennox has not been in London long. Having spent
most of his youth in India, where his family owns one of
the largest banks in the country, he's amassed a fortune.
But tragedy marks his life; within six months of each
other, he lost his parents and the woman he loved. He's run
from his grief to London and his family's title. His
reputation with the ladies quickly becomes legendary, along
with his dueling skills at dawn. One evening, heading to a
hotel to meet his latest lover, everything goes wrong. The
bed he crawls into doesn't contain the woman he is
expecting. Instead, he finds a captivating siren in need of
rescuing. Lennox offers the damsel-in-distress a temporary
answer to her needs with full access to all of the benefits
that come with it.
Isolde Perceval enjoys her independence and freedom.
Unfortunately, it's a man's world, so she has to do
something drastic to keep her creepy, fortune-hunting
cousin from sniffing around her skirts forcing her into a
marriage she doesn't want. Her plan is elaborate and well-
executed until she finds out the actor she hired to
compromise her publicly is not an actor, but a titled
gentleman. Thankfully, he helps her out, but as the
situation escalates, he offers to save her further, which
entitles him to certain benefits she is more than willing
to endure. She must remain without emotion and keep
reminding herself this is a temporary situation, getting
attached is beyond acceptable. But to survive means her
lands and money will be hers and hers alone.
SEXY AS HELL, a follow-up to GORGEOUS AS SIN, turns up the
heat. From the first page, I was on an emotional ride. I
laughed out loud, became teary-eyed and at one point was
very angry at a character and by the end...well, let's just
say this book deserves to be nominated for something. A do-
not-miss read! Thank you, Susan Johnson!
If his mistress is missing, then who's the woman in the
baron's bed?
When Baron Lennox's assignation
with his mistress goes awry, he finds himself in bed with
the wrong lady. The potential scandal leaves him with one
option: marry the innocent mystery woman. But Isolde
Perceval has no intention of marrying Lennox. In fact, she
orchestrated the compromising situation herself - for
reasons that are unpredictable, riotously romantic, and
sexy as hell.
