Wynn Evans is smarting after a messy divorce when her husband left her and their two sons for his secretary. An entrepreneur, she's now focused on building her nurse placement business and raising her two sons. Alone.

But a chance meeting with Adam Carlyle, a man thirteen years her junior who she babysat for as a teenager, changes her plans. Convinced to go with the flow, Wynn begins dating Adam and falls in love. But her ex-husband isn't through with her yet, and of course, there's the issue of the difference in Wynn's and Adam's ages.

I CAN MAKE YOU LOVE ME is an enjoyable contemporary romance featuring a smart, attractive likeable heroine with an equally smart, likeable and hot hero. Karen White-Owens does an excellent job of adding unusual nuances to a tried and true storyline in order to make the story fresh and interesting for today's readers. In fact, what makes this story so satisfying is that it truly captures a scenario that happens every day—a divorced, single mother returning to the dating scene—without a lot of contrived drama often found in current romances. A fast-paced story, I CAN MAKE YOU LOVE ME is a fun read.
