Romance Historical | Romance Erotica Sensual

Abandoned on the roadside as an infant, Marianna Wren is rescued and raised to servitude in the home of the woman who adopts her. Marianna is content with her position until a house guest takes consented sexual liberties with her, and she is soon dismissed from her post. Thrown out into the street with no means of support, she meets Miss Calliope Wiles who initiates her further into the world of the fleshly pleasures, and shows her how to prosper using her new skills. Marianna travels with Miss Wiles to London where she eventually transforms into Madame Bliss and gains notoriety, wealth, and fame. She takes up with notable rakes, fathers and sons, and beautiful damsels. Her adventures lead to the unique Blackwood Abbey, where holy initiates indulge in physical pleasures, the stained glass windows depict lewd acts of fornication, and guests conceal their identities beneath black robes. Although she screws her way through her new world with an unabashed desire to explore sensual pleasures, Marianna yearns for love, and she eventually finds it with the most unexpected hero.

This well-developed novel of 18th century England is an erotic romp in the tradition of Fanny Hill. The plot pace is fast and the dialogue snaps with a generous basting of humor and bawdy banter. Characters spring off of the pages as they effectively relay subtle nuances. This ode to a popular erotic tradition is sure to pleasure the senses and please the mind's demand for a good book. Readers will find the style in which this story is written to be a refreshing respite from other popular erotic romances of today.

SUMMARY

An irresistible debut that invites readers into a world rife with temptation.

A resourceful and most amorous heroine continues in the great ribald tradition of those legendary eighteenth century characters, Tom Jones and Fanny Hill…

Readers will delight in the erotic adventure of Miss Marianna Wren, a deliciously wanton eighteenth-century beauty determined to claim exuberant pleasure and delight from every waking moment, and from every opportunity that tumbles her way. After being blissfully “ruined” as a maidservant on her master’s dining table, the luscious Marianna determines to control her own fate, setting off for King George’s London and all its bawdy temptations.

Before long, Marianna’s life is filled with delectable seductions, extravagant ravishments, and outrageous conquests of every flavor and fashion. Yet even as lords and princes shower her with jewels, she longs for the greatest pleasure of all—a chance at true love—and the daring to risk everything to find it.
