It is with some trepidation that I started the last
brother, Morganen's story. I have enjoyed each and every
one of the Sons of Destiny books. Each is more intriguing
than the last and while I cannot wait for each brothers'
book, I am sad when I have turned the last page. I just
can't seem to make myself savor them. I just have to see
what will happen next. I'm that impatient when it comes to
these stories.
So with that being said, here finally is Morg's book. It
is as wonderful and satisfying as I knew it would be. I've
been pulling for Morg to get his mate and his happy ending
through each of the seven brothers' books but I must say
Jean Johnson saved quite a few huge surprises for this
final brother's story!
In the last book, we experience Hope finally coming through
the portal with the last of her belongings. Morg is beside
himself with wanting to finally meet her up close and
personal. It seems sort of odd that the first words to
come out of Hope's mouth when she crosses the portal
are 'I'm finally home'. What's that supposed to mean?
That's not the only surprise or interesting scenario that
Ms. Johnson springs on us unsuspecting readers in this
captivating book!
I must say I raced through this story as quickly as I did
the rest of the brothers' stories. The entire series has a
star place in my keeper book shelf and one of these days
when (ha ha) I run out of things to read, I will reread
these books with relish!
This is the final book in the acclaimed series of “cursed
brothers, fated mates, prophecies… destiny and
magic.”(Robin D. Owens)
New York
Times bestselling author Jayne Ann Krentz hails Jean
Johnson’s writing as “fabulously fresh, thoroughly romantic,
and wildly entertaining.” Now, Johnson returns for the final
book in the series of eight brothers destined to fulfill a
strange prophecy. As their growing family faces new
problems, the worst of those troubles now fall upon Morg,
the last of the Sons of Destiny, and on Hope, Morg’s
foretold bride.
