Caffeine-addicted, discount-sale-shopping fashionista and
underachieving paralegal Finley Anderson Tanner is back for
a third time trying to determine who the dead person is
that's been found in the closet of her new beach cottage.
Yes, she should've known something like this would happen
because the deal for the house was just too good to be
true -- and she accepted it sight unseen. When will Finley
ever learn?
Now, as she deals with extensive renovations to the
hurricane-damaged house, she must also find out who the
dead body belongs to and why it was left in this particular
closet. It doesn't help that Finley is also dealing with a
sexy new boss at the law firm, as well as her sizzling
attraction to hunky P.I. Liam McGarrity, after recently
dumping her boy friend of two years (who turned out to be
married!). It's a good thing Finley has some really great
friends to keep her normal (or as close as she'll ever get
to it) and centered on what's most important in life. Now,
back to that dead body in the closet.
Rhonda Pollerro has written another hot-dang
hilarious installment to this totally entertaining mystery
series. If you like Stephanie Plum, you will love Finley
Anderson Tanner (F.A.T.) and how she deals with what life
throws at her. The writing is witty and the plot zany. What
fun -- don't miss it!
The difference between the wrath of God and the wrath of
your mother is that eventually God forgives you.
Finley Anderson Tanner just landed a quaint new cottage on
posh Palm Beach. Not bad for an underachieving, sample-
sale-shopping paralegal -- until she finds the place in
shambles. She should have known better than to accept her
overbearing mother's offer to sell her a house unseen at a
bargain-basement mortgage rate. Good-bye Rolex dreams. At
this rate, she'll be shopping designer outlets forever.
When Finley discovers a skeleton in her new closet, right
where her Jimmy Choos should be, a total home renovation
is the least of her worries. Sure, she knows how to catch
a crook, but when a girl's sandwiched between sexy P.I.
Liam McGarrity and her hot new boss, defense attorney Tony
Caprelli, she can only be headed for commitment. To an
institution. With her fabulous (but slightly more
successful) friends to keep her sane and her interfering
mother out of town, Finley vows to get this bad guy -- and
decorate her new house -- even if she has to pay full
price.
