When I sat down to read MEANT FOR EACH OTHER by Lee Duran I
hoped that I
was in for a read that I would be unable to put down, and I
was not
disappointed!
Frankie Hale and Johnny Davis met in a small town in
Missouri when they
were teens, and for them it was almost love at first sight.
However, their love
was not the kind that had a smooth happily ever after. As
you read the story of Frankie and Johnny you see how not
only a marriage
evolves and the work it takes to maintain it, but how people
outside of the
relationship can potentially impact the relationship in both
good and bad
ways.
As I read MEANT FOR EACH OTHER I couldn't help but reflect
back on my own
marriage and the family I have, and have to be thankful that
even though
we've weathered our share of storms, we've also had our
share of sunny days!
MEANT FOR EACH OTHER was a true love story, and I believe
that even though
they had their ups and downs Frankie and Johnny gave their
children a true
foundation for their own relationships. I hope that when you
sit down to read MEANT FOR EACH OTHER you find it as
hard to set aside as I did.
Frankie Hale doesn't believe in love at first sight…until
she meets Johnny Davis. And hours after that first
meeting, he carves their initials into a tree, joining
them forever. If only it were so easy.
From the very
beginning, their on-again, off-again romance makes them
the talk of their small Missouri town. It's clear that
Frankie and Johnny are meant to be together, so why do
they have to struggle to make this relationship work? Or
are they learning the hard way that a love worth having
takes a lifetime to build?
