Robin D. Owens has yet again outdone herself with her
latest in the Heart series. We are now privy to Tinne Holly's
story. As readers may recall, Tinne married someone else
when he found out his heart mate had been married. Then his
family was cursed causing his wife Genista to lose their
baby. That was the beginning of the end of their marriage.
Now Genista wants a divorce which will bring more disgrace
to the Holly family. Then Tinne finds out that his heart
mate, Lashin ran away from her abusive husband. Where
could she be and can T'Yew force her back?
Tinne discovers Lashin in the sanctuary of the secret
garden that only opens to those in desperate need of it.
Apparently Tinne and Lashin both need sanctuary. Tinne
knows that Lashin is about to go through her second passage
and he will connect with her at that time as they are heart
mates but he is not ready for a relationship right now and
neither is she so he waits. But will he wait too long?
I relish each and every Robin D. Owens book. They are so
addictive. I wish I could read them slowly so I could savor
them but I am just compelled to zip through these
extraordinary books in order to see how she resolves each
and every story and much to my satisfaction I've never been
disappointed in the least.
Wed to a wealthy older man when she was just a girl,
Lahsin Yew runs away from her abusive home to find a new
life. At seventeen, she’s about to enter her Second
Passage, when her Flair—and perhaps her HeartMate—will be
revealed.
Lahsin finds sanctuary in a secret
garden, where she meets Tinne Holly. Though he is her
HeartMate, he cannot tell her, and her troubled past
prevents her from trusting any man. Pretending to find her
by chance, Tinne helps her through her Second Passage. But
when the truth is revealed, can she forgive his deception,
and learn to trust in her destiny?
