Cleo Hollings has earned her nickname Wicked Witch of
Murray Street working as the Deputy Mayor of New York
City. If there is a problem, then she is the woman who
will get it resolved. She takes her professional and
familial obligations very seriously which leaves little
time for herself. When Sean O'Sullivan seeks out her
assistance, she thinks a bit of fun is in order. She has
heard about his reputation, and she is more than willing to
trade favors. Will she be satisfied with a few stolen
moments here and there? Can she afford to let him fully
into her life?
Sean O'Sullivan needs help getting the family bar
reopened. As a lawyer, he is well acquainted with
paperwork and the paper trail from the bar citations leads
him straight to City Hall. He easily finds his way into
Cleo Hollings' office knowing that she is the true power
behind City Hall. He has no doubts that Cleo will quickly
resolve the issue and things will be back to normal.
However, he does not want to escape her clutches so
quickly. She has some quality that appeals to him. Will
she be the one to finally tame Sean O'Sullivan? Will he
settle for whatever she will offer?
Kathleen O'Reilly has written a fun, sexy romance. The
main characters are powerful in their respective careers
and each is a force to be reckoned with. Cleo is used to
people listening to her and obeying her orders. Sean is
used to winning his cases in a court of law. Both are
worthy adversaries, but they are on the same side until
their hearts become involved, and then the gloves come
off. I enjoyed the witty banter and the sexual tension
escalating between them. Ms. O'Reilly even does a
marvelous job of portraying the seriousness of
Alzheimer's. NIGHTCAP provides fantastic sizzling romance,
and brings a satisfying conclusion to the O'Sullivan
series.
Sean O'Sullivan's claims that his family's landmark bar is
the victim of City Hall shenanigans only means more work
for Cleo Hollings, the mayor's number one mover and
shaker. Since Sean's got her busy, she decides she'll keep
Mr. Testosterone busy, too…but between the sheets.
Yet sleeping with the hunky O'Sullivan isn't that simple.
Everyone said Sean would be inexhaustible—even
unforgettable. Nobody warned her he was lovable, too. Now
other clubs' drinks taste like dust. Nothing measures up
to a nightcap—with a chaser of O'Sullivan stud!
