Desiree was taught well by her mentor Hubert on how to be a
near perfect thief. He bought her from her parents when she
was barely a teen and now as a young woman she can pick
pockets with the best of them. Hubert is all Desiree has and
when she finds out that Hubert will be hanged because of
murder, Desiree knows he was framed! But she arrives too
late and the old man is soon hanged by his neck. She won't
quit till she finds out who is responsible even if that
