Zachary Prade has been given a mission. Find the girl, get
the bracelet with the embedded file, and get out. This is
the assignment he's been given, the assignment he was pulled
out of deep cover with the CIA for. The catch is, the girl
is Lily Robbins, and she's not just some girl. This girl
knows him as Central American drug lord Alejandro Campos,
and somehow he has to get her to trust him, as well as fight
the attraction he's felt for her since the moment they met.
Lily doesn't get it. She met Alejandro Campos in Central
America. She still can't believe she was so attracted to a
drug lord. Most of all, she can't understand why she's
being followed. Imagine her surprise when in the very early
morning someone brakes into her house and she's forced to
rely on the one person she knows has no reason to be there,
Alejandro Campos.
After escaping from Lily's house and leaving behind the dead
body of one of the assassins sent there, Zach knows that she
needs answers. He also knows that the assassins at Lily's
house won't be the last and he needs to get her someplace
safe. Somewhere he knows she'll be protected, and there's
only one place he can be sure of.
Zach is going home, all the way home: to Steele Street, the
Chop Shop Boys, and what is now Special Defense Force,
otherwise known as SDF. The fact that he broke in and stole
his old Chop Shop ride didn't hurt. He knew they were
already tracking the car. He just needed to get them to
help him get the car home, and keep Lily safe until this
whole mess was over. He needed Dylan Hart, head of
Operations for SDF.
Dylan has been wondering about and trying to keep track of
Zach since their Chop Shop days but when you're trying to
keep track of someone in the CIA, it gets a little
difficult. He doesn't know the entire situation that Zach
is in, but the one thing he's completely sure of is that
Zach is one of the good guys and if it's important to Zach
that Lily stay safe, then it's important to him too.
The challenge is to get Lily to SDF safely, while
maintaining control of the bracelet and his heart. The
bracelet he can handle. His heart, on the other hand is
already long gone. He never imagined he could fall in love
in a situation like this. He just hopes that she feels the
same.
CUTTING LOOSE is another wonderfully action packed read. I
loved the "Crazy" series by Tara Janzen and I was so excited
to find out that she was going to continue the story of SDF
and those characters into the new "Loose" series. This is a
wonderful, fast-paced, exciting read. You'll be pulling for
them the whole time, in both love and survival!!
She's the unsuspecting beauty with something everybody
wants.
He's the secret agent in so deep nobody can find him.
Until now...
CIA operative Zachary Prade made his name taking out world
threats. But now he’s tracking a very different kind of
danger and her name is Lily Robbins. Lily holds the key to
a valuable encoded file that’s about to fall into the
wrong hands. All Zach has to do is retrieve the key and
forget the rain-soaked beauty who came to his Central
American plantation seeking shelter from more than the
weather.
Lily knows him as Alejandro Campos, the seductive drug
lord who saved her life. They met when she traveled to El
Salvador to film a documentary…and got caught in the
middle of a nasty drug-and-guerrilla war. Now, back in the
U.S., hunted by spooks and assassins, Lily has to trust
Campos again. Except his name isn’t Campos, and he’s
arousing a passion so hot it’s criminal. That is, if they
can survive long enough to enjoy it…
