Navy SEAL Ian Richards fights for those who cannot. Listed
as a deserter who has gone to the other side to take over
his biological father's drug cartel, Ian sees his father as

Ian's best friend, Nathan, was tortured and drugged for
more than a year at the hands of Diego Fuentes and a French

father. The DHS has an agreement with Diego to hand over
valuable information in exchange for no harm to his drug
business. Kira gladly accepts the mission because she's in
love with Ian. They met during a mission in Atlanta the
previous year, (HIDDEN AGENDAS). Aware of each other for
years, it was their time together in Atlanta that set off
the sparks.
Kira is known as the Chameleon. Ian accepts that Kira can
take care of herself, though his male protective genes
march right to the front. He tries to convince her to leave
Aruba before the danger escalates. She's a distraction that
he does not need. Stubborn, but sexy, Kira manages to crawl
under his skin and before long he can't get enough of her.
He wonders if he's sleeping with the Chameleon or the
woman. Kira loves Ian, but she realizes that once she
completes her mission, saving Diego from Ian, the betrayal
will kill any feelings he might have for her. Ian is in
love with Kira, but knows that she's holding back,
