Near Christmas time, Claire MacGregor, a struggling antique
dealer from Boston, receives an inheritance from an elderly
Scottish gentleman, Tavish MacLean. Among the items
received is a Celtic carved box dating from 1744. Clair
finds a small decorative box inside accompanied by a note
to guard the box, the same as Tavish has done since it was
passed on to him. When Claire discovers the puzzle and
combination and opens the box, a loud crack pierces the
air, producing an unbelievably gorgeous, but naked, Sir
Cameron MacLeod, who is centuries old.
Unable to comprehend how he has arrived in this time and
place, Cam is astounded by the society he's bound to, along
with challenges he must overcome -- with Claire's help,. As
Claire endeavors to find a way through the witches of Salem
to help Cam return to his time, she falls in love with the
tall, lusty warrior. Keeping Cam out of trouble at every
turn as he encounters a new way of life, Claire is beside
herself with grief at the possibility of eventually losing
him.
The cleverly written escapades that Cam initiates are funny
and very witty. Sandy Blair has put before the
reader the obstacles that one might face in encountering a
totally different time and style of life we all take for
granted. This story is funny, entertaining and has you
waiting for the next page with some sexually explosive
scenes. This is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a little
paranormal entertainment with their romance.
