DARK ANGEL, Lucy Blue's third novel in the Bound in Darkness
series, was a first for me. I've never read any of Ms.
Blue's books so I was a little hesitant to jump into the
middle of a series. Thankfully, right from the start, that
wasn't an issue. Though it may be part of a series, DARK
ANGEL holds its own as a stand-alone. Past characters from
prior books make an appearance but it doesn't stall the
story in any way and make you think what am I missing.
Gareth and Roxanna will steal your hearts. Gareth's
acceptance of Roxanna, what she is and his determination to
save her, will have you falling in love with him. If it's
adventure you crave, the search for the cure to the vampire
curse will keep the thrill seekers ensnared. DARK ANGEL is
an exciting adventure, full of love, acceptance and a
willingness to sacrifice for the ones you love. I can't wait
to pick up the other books in this series.
