the death of his partner and his role in the incident,
Matt leaves the Miami police department to head to
Georgia. He is responding to a triggered alarm during a
storm when he comes across a scared woman and child. He
takes her back to his office until he receives
confirmation from Ms. O'Connor, who is out of the country,
that Lydia Sloan is indeed an expected houseguest and not
a burglar. Her child reminds him of his partner's child,
and he is more determined to discover the truth behind her
visit to the island. Who is this woman really? What or
who is she running from? Will he be able to use his trust
in God to show her that she is never alone?
Debby Giusti's debut novel is nicely written. It is a
captivating inspirational romantic suspense. She
effortlessly combines the three elements to come up with a
great tale. The story has non-stop suspense that keeps
the reader on edge. The plot contains many twists and
turns that keeps you guessing at the outcome. The
characters are well developed, and there are many possible
romances. Throughout the story, there is an underlying
theme of trusting in God. NOWHERE TO HIDE is a book to be
enjoyed and Ms. Giusti is an author to add to that keeper
list.
