ICING ON THE CAKE was a story about love, friendship,
loss, family, and life. Liz Talbot is an endearing
character, flaws and all. The reader will root for Liz to
succeed in everything she does. It's a change of pace to
read about an older woman as the main character versus the
typical younger characters in chick lit novels. Laura
Castoro writes in a fun vibrant manner that makes the
reader feel like it's a friend talking to them. ICING ON
THE CAKE puts a fresh new look on chick lit and readers
