This isn't just any New Year's for Hannah Davis.
Considering that her purse and luggage have been stolen
with all her clothes, private information and credit cards
inside, she'd say it's the worst.
Hannah ends up in a bar waiting for her tour guide, Tanner
Hart, where she has a few too many mojitos and finds
herself in a stranger's lap and then his bed. Upon waking,
Hannah is disoriented until she sees the man next to her.
She has no idea that the man is the one and only Tanner
Hart, tour guide extraordinaire.
Despite the fact that Hannah never gets drunk and wakes up
with strange men in strange beds, she's completely
attracted to this one. They will soon see whether they have
enough strength and heart to make it through some bad
times. Now, this won't be just another new year.
This book is completely engaging with a lot of heart. The
perfect sequel to MUST LOVE MISTLETOE, it incorporates Finn
and Bailey as a newly engaged couple. Although reading that
first book is not necessary to understand this sequel, it
is nice to follow the couples as they find love and keep
it. The characters are the reason to keep reading and they
give great perspective on life, disappointments and
love.
After all, this year brought Hannah Davis nothing but the
memory of her wandering fiancé marrying someone else behind
her back. Now, sitting alone at a bar in Coronado,
California, on December 31, she decides to do something
radical . . . and lets a brooding good-looker take her to
bed. But when a hysterical woman bursts into their room
much too early on New Year's Day, Hannah realizes this
guy's more complicated than she thought . . .
Ex-Secret Service Agent Tanner Hart screwed up, big-time!
Hoping to temporarily boot some of the ghosts from his
life, he hooked up with this sexy stranger for a hot one-
night stand—only to discover she's the woman he's agreed to
protect . . . from men just like him!
But a new year is a time for fresh beginnings. Despite the
danger, the hoopla, and the hangovers, if Hannah's brave
enough to risk her heart again—and Tanner's wise enough to
realize he deserves it—maybe this one will be different.
