Erotic | Romance Anthology

SECRETS VOLUME 12 lives up to the rest of the series with steaming erotica and a lot of wonderful imagination. The first story is done by Dominique Sinclair called Good girl Gone Bad. It's about a woman who gets her first break in journalism. She is given a chance to write for Glimmer Magazine, with no idea where to start. While she is out doing her research, she runs into Luke, a summer lifeguard, she had a crush on and actually makes a date. Now that is when the real research begins.

The next tale is Aphrodite's Passion written by Jess Michaels. The story take place in 1885 after Galvin is asked by a family to locate their stepmother to check her into a mental hospital. Given a diary and a picture, he sets off to find her, but when he arrives to see Selena Kelsey he gets more then what he has bargained for. Since leaving London, Selena has been around sensual temptation and now she is ready to join in.

White Heat is by Leigh Wyndfield. Raine has been alone for years hiding from the man who killed her whole team. In this time, she has been keeping up her skills on a very unlikely planet covered in snow. While a storm starts breaking lose one day, Raine gets a visitor from a prison called HeFO. Walker was sent their for crimes he didn't commit, but when he escaped he had no idea that he would run into the one woman he was hoping for all his life, his mate.

The story I liked the most was Summer Lightning by Saskia Walker. Sally is an artist just looking for a private getaway. She found that and a whole lot more on the private beach behind the rental cottage. Julian really didn't like the idea of another person being on the beach, but he decided that he would introduce himself anyway. When he saw Sally, he had a change of attitude. All the while a storm brews both inside and out.

I really recommend this book if you like steamy scenes and romance thrown into the mix. I can't wait for the next one.

SUMMARY

Summer Lightning by Saskia Walker: Sculptress Sally Richards is in heaven spending an idyllic getaway on a secluded cove, and then she spots a gorgeous Adonis walking naked on the beach. What more inspiration does a girl need? When Julian Keswick finds an attractive woman shacked up in his cove, it's his manly duty to check her out. But what will Julian do when he finds that she's secretly been using him as a model?

Aphrodite's Passion by Jess Michaels: When Selena Kelsey flees Victorian London just before her evil stepchildren can institutionalize her for hysteria, Gavin Fletcher is asked to bring her back home. Feeling beholden to the family, he agrees. But when he finds her living on the island of Cyprus with a group who worship Aphrodite (the Greek goddess of sensuality and sex), his need to have her begins to block out every other impulse, including duty and even personal safety.

WHITE HEAT by Leigh WyLndfield: Raine has spent the last few years avenging her murdered team, but the cost has been high. She's hiding in an icehouse in the middle of nowhere from one of the scariest men in the universes. Walker escapes from a burning prison, staggering to safety. Imagine their surprise when they find out they have the same man to blame for their miseries. Passion, revenge and love are in their future.

Good Girl Gone Bad by Dominique Sinclair: Raised a good girl, Reagan's dreams are finally within reach. First she needs a topic for a four-segment article. Setting out to do research, nothing could have prepared Reagan for Luke, or his offer to teach her everything she needs to know about sex. Fighting the inner good girl, Reagan explores being bad under Luke's guidance. Licentious pleasures, forbidden desires--inspiring the best writing she's ever done. Only now women across America are reading about Reagan and Luke's encounters. And he has no idea...
