Lady Juliana Chase is always doing for others, whether it's
charitable work or matchmaking. Most recently, she's agreed
to make clothes for the babies at the Foundling Hospital
and try to find a more suitable husband for her friend,
Lady Amanda Wolverston, who's recently become betrothed to
a man too old for her. The only problem is that Juliana is
supposed to be looking for her own husband.
James Trevor, the Earl of Stafford, has known love before
and is sure he will never know it again. However, his
mother is pestering him for a grandchild. Even though he'll
never marry for love again, he will marry someone he's
attracted to and with whom he can be friends. And he's
attracted to Juliana. The only problem is she keeps trying
to throw him together with her friend Amanda.
The more Juliana tries to match Amanda and James, the more
attracted she becomes to James herself. Everything would
work out fine if he'd just quit kissing her and concentrate
on Amanda. But miracles happen when you least expect them.
TEMPTING JULIANA is very funny and extremely romantic. I
loved all the characters and especially adored Juliana and
James. I highly recommend this book.
It's a good thing Juliana Chase takes such pleasure in
playing matchmaker, because there's nothing she wants more
than to see her loved ones happy. Her latest pairing
involves Dr. James Trevor, Earl of Stafford, and her
friend, Amanda. So why does the handsome physician insist
on ignoring her good intentions-and shaking up her
sensible
plans?
