A former NFL quarterback pairs with the ex-girlfriend who broke his heart in order to research the mysterious case of a woman who vanished without a trace decades ago in FALLING FOR YOU.

If you could meet one of your characters in real life, who would you choose and what would you do?

Once upon a time, I was a neighborhood girl who wanted to be a ranch- dwelling, horseback-riding girl. I asked for a horse every Christmas, without success. So I’d choose to meet Bo Porter, hero of UNDENIABLY YOURS. Not only is he gorgeous, but he manages a Thoroughbred horse farm located on a ranch. He could take me horseback riding!

What gets your creative juices flowing when you’re brainstorming a new story?

Real life stories furnish me with a great deal of insight and inspiration. When I’m working on a new novel, I pore over the accounts of people who faced circumstances similar to those that my hero and heroine will face. I also love to read memoirs written by people who work in the same field as my hero and heroine.

Which part of Readers & ‘ritas are you most excited about?

I’m most excited about getting to know the readers and writers present! It’s wonderful to establish friendships with people who have the good taste to enjoy reading and romance as much as I do.

We’re all romantics here, so we need to know—what is your all-time favorite love story?

I’m a huge fan of Colin Firth's portrayal of Mr. Darcy in the BBC’s version of Pride and Prejudice. That mini-series has withstood the test of time for me! I first watched it near the time it came out, more than twenty years ago. I re-watch it every few years and still adore it.
