Feel like heating things up? Well, you’re in luck because the month of November
is rife with new
dragon stories.
Dragons are no doubt some of my favorite paranormal creatures. Authors have taken
traditional mythos
and have really made them their own in their respective series. While some series
are set in the current time period, there are also some that
take place in alternate
fantasy worlds, showing how versatile dragons can be. If I’m being
honest, I really can’t
choose.
What’s also nice about dragon stories is that they offer something different
than vampire or werewolf
stories, which are so popular. So if you’re looking to spice things up, try out
some of my
recommendations below. These stories will no doubt have you breathing fire!
A bad boy AND a dragon king? I don’t think it
gets any better than
that!
About:
He consumed her
with that kiss, leaving no question that whatever was happening between them
was meant to be-that
it had always been meant to be...
HE LOVES FOR ETERNITY
Thorn is the bad boy of the Dragon Kings, a gorgeous, reckless warrior whose
passions run wild and
fury knows no bounds. When he sees the brave, beautiful Lexi being lured into
the Dark Fae's trap,
he has no choice but to rescue her from a fate worse than death. But by saving
this tempting mortal,
he exposes himself to his fiercest enemy-and darkest desires. As the war
between Dragons and Fae
heats up, so does the passion between Lexi and Thorn. And when love is a
battlefield, the heart takes
no prisoners...
SHE LIVES FOR VENGEANCE
Lexi is on a mission of justice. Every day, she searches for the monster who
murdered her friend.
Every night, she hides in the shadows and plots her revenge. But the man she
seeks is more
dangerous than she ever imagined. He is one of the Dark Fae who preys on human
life, who uses his
unearthly power to seduce the innocent, and who is setting a trap just for her.
Nothing can save Lexi
from a creature like this-except the one man who's been watching her every
move...in PASSION IGNITES
by New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant.
According to some (including himself), Constantine is one of
the greatest heroes of dragonkin
who ever lived. Too bad he's now lonelier than ever and his biggest adventure
involves a blow-up
sheep-until he has an opportunity to save his kind once again. All Constantine
has to do is break into
a demon's dungeon, steal an ancient artifact, and reverse a deadly curse. The
plan certainly does not
involve rescuing a woman . . .
TURN UP THE HEAT
Bee isn't sure whether to be infuriated or relieved when Constantine pops up in
her prison. The
broody, brawny shifter lights her fire in a way no one ever has before, yet how
far can she really trust
him? Their chemistry may be off the charts, but when push comes to shove,
Constantine will have to
make a crucial choice: to save the dragons or the woman he's grown to love with
fierce intensity.
I saved my very favorite for last! Aiken’s
dragons are the most
endearing, most hilarious dragons you will cover come across. I dare you not to
fall in love with them.
I, Gaius Domitus, one-eyed rebel dragon king of the Provinces, know that better
than most, since I
have to fight off half my ungrateful family on a regular basis to keep law and
order here in my lands.
But I never expected to have to consort with a barbarian human woman.
Kachka is beautiful, if you like them fierce—and of course I do. But she keeps
complaining about how
spoiled and decadent I am, and how a feared Daughter of the Steppes has no time
for foolish
dragons. I think she likes my eye patch, though. It is quite dashing. With
death always at our tails, we
take our passion like we take our allies. As they say, love the barbarian
you’re with…
I really like reading dragon stories. I have read books by the 3 authors and have enjoyed them. I'm sure I would be scared to death to meet a dragon, but they are a fun "what if?" (Lois Boden 12:16pm November 20, 2015)
LOL! I couldn't even imagine what I would do if met with a real dragon. Run maybe? Hoped you enjoyed the books, Lois! (Annie Tegelan 9:57am November 30, 2015)
