Things you wished you knew before you were published
That the paranormal trend was going to last for a long, long time. As someone
who writes contemporary fiction almost exclusively, I wish I could have given
myself more awareness of how popular vampires and fairies and werewolves would
become. Not so that I could have capitalized on it or so that it could go away
(because wow, talk about an awesome genre with a slew of fab books in it!) but
so I could have understood that it would be a while before my genre was
popular again. I would have told myself to be patient.
Pet peeves (in writing or in general)
Christmas songs out of season. This frustrates my husband to no end because he
loves to sing them year-round. I keep having to move the date we can start
singing them earlier and earlier. It used to be December 1. Now, it’s like
mid-November or something.
Things you like doing when you aren't writing
My husband and I love biking together. Experiencing the world on two wheels is
awesome. We like to find rail trails, which are train tracks no longer in use
that have been converted to bike paths. Many stretch for miles and miles
through incredible country. We love them!
Strangest experiences
I once went on a tornado-chasing excursion, which is like whale watching only
instead of paying your guide to get you close to marine mammals, we paid our
guide to get us close to storms. We saw some incredible weather (sadly, no
tornadoes) and I will never forget what it was like to cross the plains for
days on end, watching the sky.
Favorite writing snacks
Dove chocolates. Cheese and crackers. Wint-o-green Lifesavers. (Obviously
nothing healthy, lol!)
Kim Amos is a romance writer whose stories usually have hot dish in
them, which is the Minnesota name for a casserole. Currently, Amos lives in
Michigan with her husband, two dogs, and a cat.

PLAYING WITH FIRE . . .
Five years ago, Audrey Tanner flung caution to the wind and herself into
the arms of an emerald-eyed bad boy biker she met at the White Pine Asparagus
Festival. Two blissful weeks together convinced her that Kieran Callaghan was
The One-until The One blew town without a word, leaving her brokenhearted.
Now, starting a new job at the new Harley Davidson showroom, Audrey is floored
to meet her new boss: Kieran. He's still hot as hell, but she won't fall for
his sexy smile again. This time, she's calling the shots.
. . . OR PLAYING FOR KEEPS?
Kieran never thought he'd return to White Pine, Minnesota, much less see
Audrey again. Gorgeous and smart as ever, she's just as irresistible as he
remembered. She still doesn't know why he had to leave-or that he's missed her
every day since. But he can't deny he wants more than the no-strings fling
Audrey proposes. As things between them heat up, Kieran must choose between
the secret he's sworn to keep and the woman he never stopped loving . . .

Hi, Kim!! Don't worry too much about the paranormal genre. There are more than enough readers of fiction that love a good Romance story any day!! When I see a werewolf book, I make a cross symbol with my fingers, and run the other way!! lol Your latest book sounds like a great read for my Summer reading, so I put it on my TBR list. This will be my first motorcycle book, but I couldn't think of a better Author to choose for my initiation!! The cover of your book was beautifully done as well!! Welcome to Michigan, too!! I think you'll love the state. There's plenty to see and do here.
