Oh lordy. First you have to know I married my high school sweetheart and we were both young, and he was incredibly shy. We went to the beach by the lake just to sit and talk, people were still swimming and what not but the sun was going down. I had my legs stretched out and went to lean back with my hands behind me and I put my palm down on a left behind lit cigarette. Burned the crap out of myself and needless to say, had to go to his house that was near and have my now MIL doctor it for me after she'd met me once for about ten minutes.

COMBINING DREAMS

Best & worst date of all time! Picnic (good) and then a stroll into the high grass for some...well...(really good), only to find we were under the takeoff & landing flight path for a small airport. (worst) Umm...what to do, what to do. Girls gotta have a sense of humor...so I waved up at the pilot. (Best because I married my date.)

D'Ann Lindun- When my husband and I were just dating, and he hadn't met my family yet, I took my pop's truck and trailer to a rodeo. After the event, my now hubs and I parked my truck and went to get some food in his truck. Dinner and a few *ahem* kisses later, I had to go home.

We couldn't find my truck keys. Anywhere. Hours later, now-hubs took me home. My pop wasn't thrilled to meet my new BF the wee hours of the morning! But 34 years later, we're still together, so something must have clicked!

We'd arrived at dusk, and hadn't had a chance to really look at the water before that, so we hadn't known. Still, to the day don't know why it was like that, but it definitely killed any sexy vibes. LOL

WATCH ME
-Marriage, even when you're deeply in love, is not always easy, and my story shows that. Watch Me is about a married woman who is feeling a little unattractive and lonely because her husband s working a lot. During a heat wave she finds a new way to get a thrill and make herself feel attractive again. There's no cheating, and the ending is a happy, more secure marriage, but it's a rollercoaster to get there.

This was actually our honeymoon, and we were in the US Virgin Islands, idyllic, shower that opened out to the sea (which you'll see in some of my books), off-season, so virtually private swimming pool, crocheted bikini. Perfect. Until I got sunburned all over from snorkeling and swimming--not great for a honeymoon.
