“Is it love, lust, a fascination for the unusual, or could I become the main course at his next meal?”

Regardless of it all, having those complications, questions, and possibilities make for an interesting relationship. Even better, the resolution when the hero and heroine are finally able to overcome those mountainous obstacles is cause for celebration. Because love doesn’t have boundaries. Love isn’t restricted to human and human when it comes to science fiction, especially romance. And that’s what makes creating new species and worlds so much fun as an author.

For every roadblock thrown at the couple, love can remove it. For every naysayer who protests their relationship, love will overcome them.
