ENTRY PERIOD: This sweepstakes begins at 12:01am (EST) on March 2, 2015 and ends at 11:59pm (EST) on March 31, 2015.

HOW TO ENTER:

To enter the Sweepstakes:

1. You must register your name, email address and mailing address in the form provided at [www.randomhousebooks.com/campaign/rt2015sweepstakes] or [www.atrandom.com/rt2015sweepstakes]. No entrants under the age of eighteen (18).

In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the EMAIL ADDRESS used for entry. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices will result in disqualification. Sponsor(s) is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information by entrants; lost or late entries or transmissions; interrupted or unavailable network, server, or other connections; scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, technical malfunctions of any computer hardware, software, or any combinations thereof; or problems associated with any virus or any other damage caused to entrants’ systems. Incomplete entries will be voided. All entries become the property of Sponsor(s) and will not be returned.

ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. Void where prohibited. Employees of Penguin Random House LLC and Off the Edge, LLC, including its member companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes.

PRIZE: The Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip for two (2) to Dallas, TX consisting of the following:

• Round trip coach class airfare for winner and one (1) guest to Dallas, TX from major U.S. airport nearest Grand Prize Winner’s residence within the 48 contiguous U.S., valued at approximately $500.00 per round trip ticket;
• Six (6) days/five (5) nights hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Dallas, valued at $499.00 per night;
• RT Booklovers Convention registration fee/passes for two (2) Readers, Published Authors, Aspiring Authors, Bloggers, and Reviewers, valued at $489.00 each.

The approximate retail value of all prizes is Four Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Three Dollars ($4,473.00). No transfer or cash or other substitution of all or part of the prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to replace a prize or prize component with another of comparable or greater value. Any and all taxes on the prize will be the responsibility of the winner.

Winners may be required to complete, execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within five (5) days of the date of notification. Noncompliance with these conditions by the deadline may result in disqualification, and Sponsor reserves the right to select alternate winners in such circumstance.

GRAND PRIZE (1) WINNER: Grand Prize Winner will be chosen at random on April 1, 2015 from all eligible entries received by the entry deadline. Winners will be notified via email. If any winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days after first attempted contact, Sponsor(s) may, at its discretion, select an alternate (in random drawing) from other eligible entries received before the deadline.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By entering the sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the Penguin Random House LLC Privacy Policy, available here: http://www.randomhouse.com/about/privacy.html. In addition, each winner agrees that Sponsor(s), its parent company, assigns, subsidiaries and affiliates, and advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and its and their respective employees, officers and directors will have no liability whatsoever in connection with, and will be held harmless by the winner for, any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to person or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this sweepstakes and/or the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of any prize. Each winner specifically consents to the use of his or her name for publicity and promotional purposes on behalf of Sponsor(s) with no additional compensation or further permission (except where prohibited by law).

GOVERNING LAW: All disputes and questions regarding the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any participant or the Sponsor(s), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than New York. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

NAME OF GRAND PRIZE (1) WINNER: The name of the Grand Prize Winner will be available after April 1, 2015, to receive notification please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope by April 10, 2015 to Random House, Attn: RHPG Marketing, 1745 Broadway Drop 11-1, New York, NY 10019.
