Kelly Moran | Ghost Hunters Meets True Love?
January 29, 2015
Hello everyone! Very nice to meet you. Thanks for coming by! So, what do you get when you take popular haunting shows like Ghost
Hunters & Ghost Adventures, throw in a super hot cast, and
have them fall in love? You get my new supernatural romance book series,
Phantoms. It features an elite team of paranormal investigators, each
with their own reasons for seeking the answers to life after death. I've seen just about every episode of both the above programs, plus many more.
It's an interest bordering on an obsession. From the history of the locations to
the equipment used to the taunting to rile the spirits, I've absorbed every
aspect. What happens after we die is one of the greatest mysteries in this
world, and most likely the closest to our hearts. Who hasn't lost a loved one
and wondered? Through the years, after tuning into the programs by night and
writing romance stories by day, I thought to myself…Why not write about ghost
hunters who succumb to love? And bam. There are three books total in the trilogy and each focuses on a different type
of haunting. Book one, GHOST OF A PROMISE (1/26/15), centers around a
traditional haunting and takes place on the rocky Maine coast in a two-hundred
year old mansion. Book two, GIVE UP THE GHOST (6/2015), mingles
a doppelganger haunting with traditional and is located in an isolated ghost
town in Arizona. Book three, GHOST OF YOU (TBD), delves into the
darker, evil possession hauntings and finds the team in a desecrated church in
rural Nebraska. Though I love the supernatural, including TV programs and movies, there's a lot
about the whole genre that bothers me. If it's not a cheesy ending or unlikely
scenario, then it's not doing everything possible to get results or is poorly
researched. What I did with the Phantoms series is take the best
elements of paranormal shows and amped it up to take it a step further. They
stay on sites longer, research the history thoroughly, combine day and night
investigations, and utilize both surroundings and equipment to obtain the best
results. Oh, and they fall madly in love. I sure hope you enjoy reading them as
much as I enjoyed writing them. Here's a fun list of supplies to get yourself ready to view the shows or read
the books. TV Show/Movies -A dark room -Popcorn or other yummy snack and beverage -Pillow to cover face at scary moments -A friend for backup -A sedative to put you to sleep afterwards (only kidding!) Phantoms Book Series -Well-lit room -Tea or coffee to keep the chills at bay -Chocolate for comfort -Locks on your doors, a crucifix, and white purity candles for when paranoia hits -Happy music to counter the heart-pounding There you have it. Thanks again for coming by. Please feel free to find me on
social networks to chat about any/everything and to stay in touch. Best always! XO Readers, leave a comment below for your chance to win an ebook copy of GHOST OF A
PROMISE!
About GHOST OF A PROMISEThe ghosts of her family's estate on the coast of Maine never troubled Ava
Trumble. When she finally inherits the historic mansion, however, there's a
small string attached: Ava has exactly one year to solve a 200-year-old mystery
of a missing girl, or lose her family's home... The lead investigator for paranormal TV show Phantoms, Jackson Granger, is
prepared for any metaphysical encounter—until now. It's not just the uncanny
sense of "coming home" or even his reaction to the fiery redhead who seems to
consume his every waking thought. No, it's that the ghosts are using Jackson and
Ava's attraction to play out a centuries-old tragedy. Heartbreak. Loss.
Overwhelming passion. Now Jackson and Ava must determine if they're sharing
something real...or if they've been possessed by a love that never died.

Re: Kelly Moran | Ghost Hunters Meets True Love?
I really would have loved to have read your book - however it's in e-format, and I don't own an e-reader. I also don't have the room on my computer to download any books, since I volunteered to teach a knitting class, and my computer is filled with patterns for class!! I'm familiar with the state of Maine, since I have a dear friend who lives there, and have visited her and her family. It's a gorgeous State!! The topic you wrote about also interests me, so I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to read your book!! It sounds so good, and such a great read for me to read this time of year, when the snow is falling, and I'm hunkered in for the rest of the Winter. Congratulations on what I'm sure is going to be a big hit!! (Peggy Roberson 9:19am January 29, 2015)
Hi Peggy! I totally understand. The book is available in trade paperback (to buy online only) if you so desire. Thanks so much for coming by. I loved writing this book if for no other reason than the location. Maine was perfect! xo (Kelly Moran 10:04am January 29, 2015)

Great incentive to get this book using Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures. I'm a long-time fan of TAPS Ghost Hunters so of course I immediately was interested in your book and your Phantom series. Living in Northern BC I love to hunker down and read as much as possible. I'm also a book reviewer and often get carried away reviewing just about everything I read. Fortunately, I do have an e-reader but don't have wireless up here which makes it hard to download them. More fun in a paperback, but I understand your use of ebooks for promotion. Thanks so much for the contest. Wishing you well in your future books. (Betty Gelean 7:58pm January 29, 2015)
It is funny... I am not really a scary movie kinda person... but I am fascinated by Ghost Hunters and what they find... (Colleen Conklin 8:30pm January 29, 2015)
Very interesting premises. I just read Kay Hooper's Haunted and had those feelings. I did use a well-lit room, tea, chocolate and music, with my husband in the next room at his computer, available for hugs. (Sharon Mitchell 8:43pm January 29, 2015)
I'm a huge fan of the unknown especially the paranormal. (Perhaps its because I've had personal experiences with the unknown.) I enjoy watching Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters, Ghostly Encounters, Haunting: Australia, When Ghost Attack, The Other Side (Paranormal investigators in the Canadian Prairies) well I think you catch my drift. I'm also a fan of horror movies and books. Two things I would add if you're going to watch a scary movie make sure you watch a happy movie and if your reading a scary book make sure to read it during the day time and read a non-scary book at night. ;) So yes, as you can see I do enjoy the Paranormal and I do enjoy Romance. Best of luck to all who enter :) (Holly Loch 4:48am January 30, 2015)
To Betty: Thanks for coming by. Sounds like we have a lot in common. The pub this is through is typically an ebook only pub. I was rather surprised they did the print option. Glad you came by. Love TAPS too! xo (Kelly Moran 9:09am January 30, 2015)
