New York Times Bestselling Author Laura Kaye swept the 2012 GraveTells
readers' choice awards last week by winning a total of nine of eleven awards
for which she was nominated out of fifteen total categories. The annual awards
celebrate readers' favorite books and authors in paranormal romance and this
year garnered 18,000 votes from 1,200 fans.
Two of Kaye's books took home multiple awards. In the Service of the King, dark

vampire king and his human offering at the feeding ceremony the king loathes
but requires to maintain his immortality and humanity. In highly competitive
contests, readers voted this book Most Outstanding Series (Vampire Warrior
Kings series), Sexiest Story, Favorite Novella, and Hottest Couple of 2012. A
blog tour post involving Kaye, GraveTells' owner DaVinciKitti, and characters
Kael and Shayla received the award for Best Collaborative Interview on the
site.
West of Want, Greek–mythology–inspired fantasy romance published by
Entangled Publishing, tells the story of the powerful Supreme God of the West
Wind, who falls in love with a woman he nearly kills but doesn't know if he can
trust her, especially as the ancient feud with his evil brother reaches a
breaking point. The second in the Hearts of the Anemoi series won awards for
Favorite Heroine, Most Memorable Sidekick, and Best Cover Artwork.
Kaye also won the award for Favorite Author of 2012.
Additional books in both series will release in 2013. Kaye is represented by
