The picture of all you ladies hanging out at the book club is great. Looks like quite a lively group.

I enjoyed all the movies, but probably Captain America and Thor the most, but if I had to pick a hero for my next book (either to read or write...lol) I'd go with Tony Stark because I just loved his quick, sarcastic humor and devil-may-care tude! And it doesn't hurt that his eyes melt you with a glance.

I loved the Avengers, and comic books aren't normally my thing, but the stories were all inspiring and fun in their own way.

Great post and wonderful excerpt!

I'd say Jason Isaac (AWAKE, CASE HISTORIES, THE TUDORS) has all the qualities of a hero, not too young or old, well built but not overly muscled, plays a troubled hero in most movies.
