First Signs of Spring (In A Real Rural Area)

My husband starts his work truck to make sure it runs as soon, he won't be unemployed anymore,the ground starts showing and a robin stops by, I wave..It;s Sunday and little men that can hardly see over the wheel are being tailgated by Harley Davidson Motorcycles as they slow down to show their wife the robin. My chiwauwaus go outside and they look at me and shiver as its only spring. A few people are waiting for their Sunday paper to be delivered as they got up early to walk to the mailbox so they can read all the ads while their husbands get ready for another day of sitting and watching the final four and the last pitch being thrown out from Arizona soon the players will be worried as the young walk ons get cut, We say soon it will be summer and the weather will be warm enough to do chores so for now its only Spring we go inside with our Sunday paper,
