We are just finishing our summer vacation. We spent a few days in Orlando,
Florida visiting relatives. We did spend a day at Sea World. From there we
headed to southern Florida. It has been 105 to 110 with the heat index every
day of our trip. We went to the Everglades and hiked several of the trails. It
was hot enough thwat few animals were out even in the evening.
We went to Key West and out to Dry Tortugas. It is frightening to think what
will hppen to the coral reefs and the turtles which are mating and laying eggs
at this time. It is an environment that will never recover from serious oil
damage.
