May 25, 2010,$14.00)
Some men just have more to offer. Like Bo Novikov, the hard-muscled shape-
shifter hero of this wildly funny, deeply sexy new novel from Shelly
Laurenston. Ten years after Blayne Thorpe first encountered Bo Novikov, she
still can’t get the smooth-talking shifter out of her head. Now he’s shadowing
her in New York—all seven-plus feet of him—determined to protect her from
stalkers who want to use her in shifter dogfights. Even if he has to drag her
off to an isolated Maine town where the only neighbors are other bears almost
as crazy as he is.

MASKED BY MOONLIGHT, Nancy Gideon (Pocket,
05/25/10, $7.99)
In this stunning first book from Nancy Gideon’s sizzling new series, a
tenacious cop and her shape- shifting enemy sacrifice everything for forbidden
desire. New Orleans homicide detective Charlotte Caissie is dedicated to
bringing down the crime boss responsible for her father’s murder. Using Jimmy
Legere’s mysterious and irresistible right-hand man is a dangerous gamble, and
not only due to his reputation as more monster than man. Rescued from the
swamps as a child, Max exists silently in Legere’s shadow, heeding only his
voice—until Charlotte Caissie awakens his emotions and tests his loyalties.
Stepping outside his cautious rules threatens more than just his heart.
ASSASSIN’S HONOR, Monica Burns (Berkley,
June 1, 2010, $15.00) (An Order of the Sicari Novel)
Archeologist Emma Zale sees the past when she touches relics. It’s how she
uncovered evidence of an ancient order of assassins—the Sicari. When a sinfully
dark stranger shows up on her Chicago doorstep demanding an artifact she
doesn’t have, he drags her into a world where telekinesis and empaths—someone
who can sense the emotions of others—are the norm. Now someone wants her dead,
and her only hope of survival is an assassin who’s every bit as dangerous to
her body as he is to her heart.
LOVE ME FOREVER, Rosemary Laurey, (Zebra,
June 1, 2010, $6.99)
All single mother Stella Schwartz meant to do was let her son, Sam, browse
through books at Dixie’s Vampire Emporium. She hadn’t counted on the shop
assistant, Justin Corvis, being a dark-eyed super-hunk with the kind of
charismatic English accent that would make her heart skip a beat. When Justin
smiles at her, it’s as if he’s known her forever. And when he asks for her
phone number—Stella can’t help wanting the thrill to last for eternity. For
there’s something dangerously different about Justin Corvus…different and
irresistible.
