If the first September column wasn’t jammed packed full of information and some
really hot releases you are in for a surprise. September offers us some really
steamy stories from some of the hottest lines from Harlequin.
Did you know Harlequin has a
blog? Well, they have several, in fact. It’s full of your favorite authors
blogging about what is going on in their lives, what they are working on at the
current moment and releases to look forward too. You can also find out
information about when your favorite authors will be in your hometown for a
book signing.
Okay that’s just a tidbit for you. Now onto the good stuff. Here are my
featured steamy September stories.
Harlequin Blaze is starting to become one of my favorite series of books. The
stories are so steamy yet filled with characters that are believable and full
of passion. A strong plot and tight prose and authors who keep the story moving
and leaves the reader begging for more.
GETTING
PHYSICAL by JADE LEE
When savvy business student Zoe crosses paths with sexy international
businessman Stephen—a Tantric master—she's about to get a transcendent learning
experience!
The sex is incredible, mind-blowing, life changing! Unfortunately, it also
comes with a time limit. Because Stephen's home is on the other side of the
world.
Still, Zoe's going to enjoy every moment with her skillful, exotic lover. But
it isn't long before she realizes she'll have to choose. Does she want to hold
on to the life she has…or have a lifetime of feeling his body move against hers?
Like there's a choice…
I had the opportunity to read this book and write a review for it for Fresh
Fiction. Check out the review section for the review. It’s a great book and
Jade Lee is a very talented writer.
Silhouette Desire has always been a line of books I look for. My favorite
storylines are the marriage of convenience and office romances. They always
turn out to be the best.
I also love when a marriage has fallen apart, but the couple never divorced.
Then after four years of being separated the heroine decides it’s time to
divorce and move on. But the hero has something else in mind: revenge. He wants
to make the heroine fall in love with him again and then sign her divorce
papers and break her heart the way she broke his. Oh, but then he realizes he’s
in love with her too. It just makes my heart sigh. I’m just happy Silhouette
listened to me, haha. I also was fortunate enough to read this book and write a
review for it as well.
TEXAN’S WEDDING-NIGHT
WAGER by CHARLENE
SANDS
No one walked away from this Texas mogul…especially not his wife! So when Cara
chose to leave rather than play second fiddle to his company, Kevin plotted his
revenge. Four years later, she returned, intent on finalizing their divorce.
But Cara had no clue that Kevin had constructed the perfect payback plan. It's
a wager she can't refuse. The divorce would be official…if she agreed to one
last week of playing house. And nothing would be off-limits.
Paranormals are hot, hot hot right now!!! It seems every TV show, movie, and
book has a paranormal element involved. Who can blame them? And thank you
Harlequin for having a Nocturne line and offering us great reads, such as this
one.
MOON KISSED by MICHELE HAUF
Escaping from bloodthirsty vampires, Belladonna Reynolds ran straight into the
arms of a werewolf. As a man Severo drew her in with his dark good looks; as a
beast he astounded her with his insatiable sensual appetite. Whether afraid or
aroused, Bella fled to his lair when threatened by an evil monster of the
night...
Severo tried to keep Bella—his mate—safe from the vampiress who held a
malicious desire for revenge against him, but he alone wasn't enough. Now Bella
had taken the form of his most cursed enemy. How could he desire the very thing
he'd spent his life destroying? And even if he did, what would the werewolf do
to Bella on the next full moon?
Such great reads and such little time to read them all. I have a “to be read
pile” that is so huge I’m not sure if I will ever be able to read all of these
great books.
Do you have a favorite September steamy read from Harlequin? If so, share it
with us. We love your comments here.
Happy Reading,
Tonya
