Toni Virenti, a young Italian, is serving a life sentence in a dire English prison convicted on circumstantial evidence of murder. His uncle, Massimo Pulverenti, the mafia godfather, promises Virenti's mother to set him free and he assigns a brilliant mafia lawyer to the task but the lawyers efforts are thwarted by British authorities, freemasons and the police. Massimo, under pressure from family elders, becomes impatient with the delay in trying to free Virenti through the British legal system and takes steps to free him the mafia way. Which will succeed?
