I had a ball writing this story because I'm a big fan of
animal rescue and adoption. So is my kitty cat, Eve, who
was dumped at the shelter as a four month old kitten
because she was too "active". I'm grateful every day for
the shelter that took her in and helped bring her into my
life. I'm giving away a personally autographed copy of this
book to one lucky reader and a $25 donation to the animal
rescue of your choice, but I think the real winners will be
the animals who find their forever homes this holiday
season. ––Vicki
