Re: The Gem And The Star

sounds like a good book.
(Corky Wall 12:20pm September 5, 2012)

Teleportation is the mode of travel!
(
Brenda Rupp 8:03pm September 5, 2012)

I do wish to be entered in today's contest, please.
(
Jack Davis 2:57pm September 9, 2012)

Teleportation is not the answer to the contest question. Jack, be sure to go to the contest page and answer the question of what is the mode of travel in the year 4010A.D. and also fill out your contact information. Regards, Linda Kilgren.

Do we have to read the book to get the answer? I would like to
know where to get the answer so I could win the book and then
read it!
(
Ashley C 10:30am September 13, 2012)

Okay, I read that in 4010a.d. time has reverted back to the
middle ages, so I would assume that the mode of transportation
would be horses, carriages,etc.

Hope that is correct. The book sounds really interesting.
(
Ashley C 2:44pm September 13, 2012)

I answered the question yesterday. Not sure if I can enter
everyday or just once. I beleive the correcct answer is by
horses and/or carriages/wagons. I saw some good reviews on
this book and will buy it even if I don't read it.

Ashley C 10:58am September 14, 2012)

oops, I mean win it.!
(
Ashley C 10:59am September 14, 2012)

Okay, I read the exerpt, which really made me want read the
book. And I believe the answer is Horses. They use horses
and teleportation.
(
Ashley C 12:35pm September 16, 2012)

My lips are sealed. Be sure to answer the contest question when you enter.
(
Linda Kilgren 11:36pm September 17, 2012)

Can I enter this contest every day? I still believe the
answer is horses. Can't wait to find out!
(
Ashley C 10:43am September 18, 2012)

Ashley, I really don't know how many times you can enter a contest on Fresh Fiction. Guess it's worth a try to enter again.
(
Linda Kilgren 7:16pm September 18, 2012)

Okay, I'll keep entering!
People got around by horseback.
(
Ashley C 5:12pm September 20, 2012)

Ashley, no comment from me except, Good Luck!
(
Linda Kilgren 8:07pm September 21, 2012)

still entering! The book sounds great!
(
Ashley C 10:53am September 27, 2012)

I would say the simplest of methods-walking or catching an animal and riding it.
(
Joy Isley 5:56pm September 27, 2012)

Though the Lambrians ride horses, they also teleport. Cwen has just done it for the first time in the excerpt, surprising Otas--and her rival for Otas.

Sigrun Schulz 3:54am September 30, 2012)

I read that in 4010 A.D.time has reverted back to the
middle ages, so I believe that the mode of transportation
would be horses, carriages, etc. Thanks, Cecilia CECE
(

horses or teleportation
(
Christine Beasley 7:40pm October 2, 2012)

September's Contest ended on Sunday September 30th. The answer is Horses. But don't despair if you got it wrong. There's another contest running in October. Answer the contest question and enter. Good Luck!
(
Linda Kilgren 8:07pm October 2, 2012)

Samson is the name of Cwen's horse.~
(
Sumiyati Monoarfa 1:29am October 4, 2012)

(
Jane Thompson 11:31am October 9, 2012)

No comment from me Jane, except Good Luck!
(
Linda Kilgren 8:47pm October 9, 2012)

Jane, and All, I'm glad you like the story. I had a blast writing it. If you don't win in this month's contest, there be another chance to win in November.
(
Linda Kilgren 10:11pm October 22, 2012)

November is the last month I'll be running contests. Alas, the funds just aren't there to keep me going on Fresh Fiction. If you haven't entered the contest, you only have four days to do so now. Good Luck!
