Inspirational Romance

Repairing Her Heart

Businesswoman Celeste Thompson has one goal: to make her restaurant and hotel a success. She doesn't need any distractions, even from handsome contractor Gage Purcell and his two adorable little girls. Besides, single dad Gage is just biding his time before a big job at the mines comes through. But as Celeste's project springs to life, their arguments transform into attraction.

Gage isn't looking for romance, especially not with another career-driven woman like his ex-wife. But openhearted Celeste is more than just another work-consumed client. She might just be his happily-ever-after.

Re: A Father's Second Chance

Passionate about family. I do genealogy and am trying to do
more research so my children and grandchildren know about their
family. Love Julia Child.

I'm passionate about my family but mostly my grandchildren .LOVE LOVE LOVE them . I spoil them so much. Isn't that what I'm supposed to do ??? Give them whatever they need . Three are in college and three still in school .

I enjoy drawing and encourage my little nephew to be creative... draw, make cards, paint, do little arts and crafts things... just have fun with it.
(
Colleen Conklin 12:06pm February 5, 2016)

Leona, that is so cool. I love how your passion for family is now part of your children's and grandchildren's heritage. You have a passion that will transcend time.
(
Mindy Obenhaus 6:38pm February 5, 2016)

JOAN, that is exactly what we're supposed to do. I bet you're the kind of grandma who has a wallet full of pictures (or thousands on your cell phone)that you can't wait to share. Doesn't everyone want a grandma like that? :)
(
Mindy Obenhaus 6:40pm February 5, 2016)

Aw, COLLEEN, that is so sweet. You're giving him a creative outlet as well as a way to express himself. Better hang on to some of his creations. You never know, he might be a famous artist someday.
(
Mindy Obenhaus 6:42pm February 5, 2016)

Actually i have 4 things I'm passionate about. I'm passionate
about art, family, writing stories and poetry.

L LAM, it warms my heart to hear so many people are passionate about their families. Love it!
(
Mindy Obenhaus 12:38pm February 6, 2016)

MEGAN, it sounds like you will never get bored. Good for you! :)
(
Mindy Obenhaus 12:40pm February 6, 2016)

I hear you, MARISSA. There's a definite difference between a good book and one that's not. There's nothing better than a great escape.
(
Mindy Obenhaus 12:41pm February 6, 2016)

Mindy, I love your books! I am passionate about my 2 granddaughters! It's taken my a long time to get them so I enjoy them thoroughly! They still live far from me but we Skype once a week. I love them to pieces! I'm also passionate about reading! I do it as much as possible every day!

Kittens that is what I like
(
Jeri Dickinson 3:16pm February 7, 2016)

Thank you, VALRI. It always does an author's heart good to hear that.
How neat that you work so diligently to nurture your relationship with your granddaughters. Years from now they will look back and think how lucky they were to have a grandmother who cared so much.
(
Mindy Obenhaus 3:18pm February 7, 2016)

JERI, you cracked me up. Cats can be loving on you one minute and acting as if they don't want anything to do with you the next. Finicky creatures they can be.
But who doesn't love a kitten? So cute and cuddly.
(
Mindy Obenhaus 3:21pm February 7, 2016)

Wow, MELINDA, I'm impressed. I'm guessing this means you are also passionate about history. Do you have a favorite era in time that you prefer?
(
Mindy Obenhaus 3:23pm February 7, 2016)

I am passionate about my education and also just doing little things in life to
have fun, relax and enjoy myself. I just stay focused to keep towards my
goal.
(
Lily Shah 3:24pm February 7, 2016)

Excellent plan, LILY. And doing those little things to relax will help keep stress at bay. That's always a good thing.

Emily Stemp 8:44pm February 9, 2016)

Many of my passions revolve around being active and
healthy. I went to college to further expand those
passions and got a degree in exercise physiology. I spend
many years as a fitness director, but now I'm a stay-at-
home mom who works at helping keep her family healthy.
(
Terrill Rosado 10:24pm February 10, 2016)

I am passionate about my family and encouraging others. I
nurture that passion by doing the shut in card ministry at
our church. I encourage them by sharing kind words and
thoughts in a monthly card.
(
Maryann Skaritka 12:13pm February 12, 2016)

I definitely have read and enjoy sweet and inspirational romance books... I love seeing the characters get past whatever obstacles are in their way and finding happiness.
(
Colleen Conklin 11:25am March 4, 2016)

Sweet romance books are my favorite. I love seeing characters with "real problems" falling in love.
(
Timberlee Ramsey 12:20pm March 4, 2016)

Colleen, those obstacles are what keep me reading. Of course, they also drive me crazy. Call me impatient, but I want the hero and heroine together NOW. ;)
(
Mindy Obenhaus 1:22pm March 4, 2016)

Hi, Timberlee! I love your name. As a writer, it's my hope that those real problems make the story relatable. After all, we all have problems.
(
Mindy Obenhaus 1:24pm March 4, 2016)

Real people who struggle and have to resolve their problems
with real solutions.
(
Sharon Berger 3:31pm March 4, 2016)

I love reading romances! They are my favorites!! I am open to reading all
kinds of romance novels, regardless of the time period or age, etc. However,
one thing that does appeal to me is a happy ending for the lovers. I enjoy the
suspense and drama throughout the story, but I always prefer books where
the lovers unite as one in the ending.
(
Lily Shah 4:53pm March 4, 2016)

I have read them and especially like the ones that have children in them that try to get the couple together
(
Jeri Dickinson 5:33pm March 4, 2016)

Yes, I've read sweet romances as well as gritty, alpha, and second chances
romances. All things being equal, I like when my people work through their
problems to achieve their HEAs. I really don't need an anatomy lesson in
my romances 😉
(
Kathleen Bylsma 10:08pm March 4, 2016)

yes .
(
Shanan Moening 2:37am March 5, 2016)

Yes , I have read sweet romance books and I do prefer those books to the ones with the ' hot hot sex '. Some books I won't finish reading because of the words in them . I do love the good clean books the best . Just like a real good movie is ruined by some bad language that could have been left out .
(
Joan Thrasher 11:50am March 5, 2016)

I also like clean books with love. I read a book last year
and there were personal comments they made to each other and
others did not know what they meant. Not sexual but sweet.
(
Leona Olson 2:12pm March 5, 2016)

I like books that deal with people who have kids and the kids want to get the ones together with their Mom or Dad they are always cute and fun to read on the things on how they do it
(
Jeri Dickinson 2:42pm March 5, 2016)

The story seems to be a really sweet one :)
(
Nour el houda Zine 10:40pm March 5, 2016)

I read Christian/Inspirational romances regularly, but just
read my first Love Inspired Historical about a month ago
and loved it. I haven't read a LI contemporary, yet, but
look forward to it.
(
Terrill Rosado 5:50am March 6, 2016)

I have always liked the ones with children in them especially when they try to get their parents together
(
Jeri Dickinson 1:10pm March 6, 2016)

I have read sweet romance and inspirational romance. I love the fact that the stories address real problems that we are all facing. They tell us that we are not alone in facing our problems.
(
Kai Wong 5:10pm March 6, 2016)

I love reading sweet clean romances. I love to read how the
characters find their way to love and their happy ever
after. I like that I don't have to read all the unecessary
detailed love scenes. I do enjoy the Love Inspired line of
books.
(
Maryann Skaritka 2:23pm March 7, 2016)

I really like the ones that have kids in them they are usually really sweet and fun to read
