Romance Suspense

Ignite presents an all-new romance you won't want to miss...

Some secrets are worth dying for...

Undersheriff and former Marine Rick Trelane had one constant his entire life - his friendship with Whitney Peterson. Through thick and thin, she has never faltered. Never blamed. But when her former lover turns up dead, Rick must look past the walls he's built to the woman he thought he knew inside and out...and discover he was wrong.

Whitney has secrets, deadly ones. The deeper he digs, the more he sees her as a woman he desires. And suspects. But as bodies start turning up, so does the evidence against her. Now the air is thick with secrets and shadows and giving into the longing could turn both their worlds upside down. Because this killer is just getting started...

Re: Wanted

I've never really analyzed the type of hero that I like to read. Of course, they shouldn't be abusive, but on the whole, they should be smart, sharp, tender when they need to be, and funny for starters. If a character is too complicated, it's actually a bit of a turn-off. Your latest character reminds me of my Husband in so many ways, and yes - it makes it an adventure to live with him. On the other hand, people say that I'm a very "cerebral" person, so I suppose that's one of the things that make us so compatable. We have a lot of deep discussions on different topics, and although we don't always agree, it does get quite animated!! lol I'm looking forward to reading your book, since your story line grabbed me right away!! Congratulations on your book, and I'm sure it's going to be a big hit!!

Peggy, I'm going to want to meet your hubby, lol! I'm fairly cerebral myself--I think, lol. I do love having long, deep conversations about movies and philosophy...and cooking (or rather my absolute lack of cooking skills, lol). I hope you enjoy reading Rick and the rest of Wanted!

Preferred heros. I'm pretty
eclectic for the most part,
though I do draw the line at
the overbearing type. I just
want to smack them. I think if
I had to choose I'd pick smart,
with a sense of humor, and a
sexy voice would be icing on
the cake. :-)

Oh sweet lord, a man with a sexy voice can spread me on bread... Esp if he speaks in an accent! Whenever my husband speaks French, I lose the ability to breathe. (Even though he once told me it was the translation for: Do Not Immerse In Water. The jerk. The sexy, sexy jerk, lol)

Since June 21st PBS Masterpiece Theater convinced me that 1792 Ross Poldark aka Aidan Turner is my type of hero. Ross Poldark, upper class gentleman works along lower class miners to save his penniless estate. He makes wrongs right by standing up for fairness and honesty.
Your book cover resembles Aidan Turner's abs...both make me purrrrrrr.
