Romance

Danielle and Wes have been best friends since college, so when Wes needs a date for his sister’s wedding and Dani needs a partner for her company’s retreat, they devise the perfect plan: a fake engagement to get through both events unscathed. Adrenaline-junkie Wes can prove to both his ex and his family that he’s well and truly moved on, and serious-minded Dani can prove to her boss that she’s worthy of the promotion he seems to only want to give to a family-oriented employee.

But amid the fake swoons, fake kisses, and forced proximity, neither expects the very real feelings that develop. There’s nothing more dangerous than falling for your best friend…but what if the landing is worth the fall?

(
Angie Lilly 10:13am January 23, 2013)

Sense of humor and compassion are good. I'd love to read this book.
(
Wilma Frana 10:33am January 23, 2013)

I like the nerdy, smart type who have a strange sense of humor. My husband is an engineer and if you know any engineers they are a different breed!
(
Sue Galuska 10:47am January 23, 2013)

I like the animal lover---my love interest must like all kinds of animals.
(
Sue Farrell 10:56am January 23, 2013)

A love of beauty, a sense of humor and an intrinsic honesty are absolutely necessary. He must also respect the fact that I have my own interests and goals and not expect a second mother or an unpaid maid.
(
Irene Menge 11:35am January 23, 2013)

Love all these comments! *Makes notes for next book* Lol.
(
Cindi Madsen 12:04pm January 23, 2013)

(
Bj Gaskill 12:06pm January 23, 2013)

My perfect guy is someone who believes in you and will take care if you,
but at the same time will let you be yourself. Someone who can take
charge of any situation, but is willing to let you state your opinion as well.
(
Evelyn Diaz 12:12pm January 23, 2013)

My love is funny, sweet, rough around the edges with a soft gooey inside.
He's caring and he's very smart. He loves music and is very artistic. And
best of all, he loves me regardless of my imperfections.
(
Andrea Silva 12:13pm January 23, 2013)

I like the guy to have a great sense of humor, be loyal and caring.
(
Anna Speed 12:46pm January 23, 2013)

I think that you just about nailed the recipe down, but you forgot a couple of things. One is a love for dancing, and the other is spontaneity!! That would be things like walks on the beach, or just staying home and snuggling - things like that. Otherwise, you're right on the money. Your book sounds really good, and since you ARE Julia Child in that department, I'd really love to read your "cook book of love" to keep me warm this Winter!! The weatherman just predicted 8 inches of snow tonight, and it would help to have your book, along with a cup of hot chocolate to keep me content for these snowy days. Congratulations on your book!!
(
Peggy Roberson 2:12pm January 23, 2013)

Intelligence for sure... :) Or I'll get bored..
(
May Pau 2:49pm January 23, 2013)

I think your recipe is just about perfect!
(
Elizabeth Hyatt 2:51pm January 23, 2013)

Sounds like a fun book. I love a man who knows what he
doesn't want and gets it anyway.
(
Mary Hay 3:26pm January 23, 2013)

Great looking cover and the book sounds like a great, cute read! My qualities in a love interest are humor, passionate, and adventurous!
Thanks for the chance to win!
(
Kaci Verdun 3:32pm January 23, 2013)

I like a guy who makes me laugh and has respect for woman..
(
Carole Fiore 3:38pm January 23, 2013)

I forgot to mention i'd really like to read your book!
(
Carole Fiore 3:40pm January 23, 2013)

You hit it right on the head with those three ingredients - I
would also add that they should be good with their hands (in
the kitchen and around the house!).
(
Diane Sallans 3:50pm January 23, 2013)

Those are good ingredients!
(
Maureen Emmons 4:02pm January 23, 2013)

(
Cheryl Lynne 4:21pm January 23, 2013)

Looks like we're going to have to have a virtual cooking show. Quick, everyone grab a hunky guy & we'll get started ;)
(
Cindi Madsen 4:57pm January 23, 2013)

I agree with the ones you listed and he has to be nice and caring.
(
Michelle Fidler 5:19pm January 23, 2013)

intelligence, sensitivity and goodness within.
(
Susan Coster 5:42pm January 23, 2013)

I want my man to be faithful, truthful, sincere, understanding and have a love for God.
(
Sheila True 5:56pm January 23, 2013)

Fun post, Cindi! I'm big into intelligence, quirky humor, and a unique perspective on life. Easy on the eyes is always good, but I'd rather him be gentle with my heart! And major bonus points if he can cook! ;)
(
Tracy March 6:01pm January 23, 2013)

Your and I loved reading your recipe for the perfect guy, sounds good to me.
(
Chelsea Knestrick 6:10pm January 23, 2013)

My favorite qualities (or ingredients for the perfect guy) are honest, romantic, caring, kind, understanding, hard-worker, intelligent, faithful and trustworthy, with a good sense of humor and fun to be around. If he's neat, clean and can help out around the house or do a little cooking...HE'S PERFECT and a KEEPER!
(
Linda Luinstra 6:42pm January 23, 2013)

Intelligent, humurous, love of family and animals.
(
Mary Chin 9:01pm January 23, 2013)

Love the story, and the perfect dream beau. ooh la la. :) He sounds way too good to be true, but in the books, anything is possible. I can't wait to read this one. It sounds like just my kind of book. Have a blessed day and keep writing :D
(
Meghan Anderson 9:52pm January 23, 2013)

Intelligent with a wicked sense of humor. He must be the
caring & sharing type.
(
Mary Preston 10:24pm January 23, 2013)

Sounds like a great read. Would love to win. Thanks
(
Linda Hall 10:28pm January 23, 2013)

I tend to go with guys who are a bit nerdy. They're intelligent and when you really need them the most, they tends to be kind of the nerdy, hunky, sexy type.
(
Kai Wong 12:04pm January 24, 2013)

I absolutely love hum0r in books and it takes an intelligent person to provide real humor.
(
Gladys Paradowski 12:42pm January 24, 2013)

Yes, a sense of humour is a must.
And because we're all readers here, naturally we'll want our men to be intelligent. And readers. How many people in novels ever pick up a book? How many books are shown on the covers of books?
If by nerd you mean obsessed with statistics and minutiae on a topic, well provided it's a useful topic that's fine. Miniature railways may not be so useful as world history.
I happen to think cooking skills and willingness to use them are high on my list of male attractiveness, I expect many women agree!
(
Clare O'Beara 5:16am January 25, 2013)

He has to be Honest , understanding to my feelings , caring , romantic , bad boy image :) ( so hot ) .
(
Danielle McDonald 2:18pm January 25, 2013)

Tall, sensitive, cute and huggable would be on my list for fine guy. Humor gets you through just about anything, but sometimes it isn't until years later, that you can look back and learn and maybe laugh at "What was I thinking?"
(
Alyson Widen 4:37pm January 27, 2013)

I would love to find the perfect guy. So far all I have found
are losers. Maybe its's me lol
